Travis' POV

I woke up and immediately stood up just to find darkness all over the place. Is it blackout? Or is it what? Wait, maybe the lights are just off. I searched for my phone and immediately open the flashlight app.

I found the light's switch. The light bulbs suddenly lit up and my eyes adjusted. It's 2 in the morning. I can feel like there's something wrong or is it just me? I erased the thought. Baka nasa room na si Linnea by this time. Naglakad na ako paakyat at may naramdamang kakaiba.

Something's really not right in here. I have the weird feeling and I have to find out what is it. I walked pass other rooms and directly open the door of Linnea's and the cold air welcomed me.

Why is it so cold in here? Then, my question is immediately answered when I looked at the open window. Don't tell me the window opened by itself. Someone opened it.

The lights are on so it's easier for me to see the open window. Naglakad ako papalapit doon at sinarado ito. Inilibot ko pa ang mata ko at nakita ang isang papel na nakapatong sa kama niya. Weird? Ano naman to? Lumapit ako at kinuha ang papel.

Halos manlumo ako sa nabasa ko mula sa papel. "Tick tock, tick tock. Time is ticking for your princess. Go to the place that I will text you or you'll receive her dead body." Parang sinulat ito gamit ang tunay na dugo.

Bigla akong kinabahan at agad napatakbo palabas. Pagkalabas ay tumunog ang cellphone ko kaya kinuha ko ito kaagad.

Nagtataka na talaga ako. Saan siya pupunta ng gantong oras? "Where is he then?" Tanong ni Matt na nagkakamot ng ulo habang papalabas kami ng pinto. Nagkibit-balikat kami. I really don't know.

Pumunta kami sa living room dahil sa tingin ko ay kailangan na namin pag usapan ito ngayong gabi. We shouldn't waste time. Linnea's life is the subject here. She's in serious danger.

Pinakita ko sa kanila ang papel at ang text message. Nabigla sila at hindi makapaniwala.
