Friday morning came quicker than I expected, and in little over than 7 hours we would be at Evelyn's. The more I thought about it the more I started to doubt my decision, but just knowing that Noah would be with me somehow made it better.

Noah was my comfort and peace - it was like he kept me afloat in the land of monsters and drama. It's weird to say, but Noah was probably the only guy I've had strong feelings for and I wasn't going to deny it.

The day went by really fast. For breakfast we ate warm pancakes with strawberries and powdered sugar, and homemade syrup. We did the normal chores and petted the horses. It was a rather nice day - the clouds were a pretty blue color and the air was nice and breezy.  It was a perfect day to lay in the hammock, unfortunately doing so was rather hard when I knew of the eventful evening that was arriving soon.

For some reason, whenever I got excited for something my stomach would flop around and do crazy summersaults - like on Christmas Eve, or Easter Sunday, just exciting things like that!

But tonight must've been different, and I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it was the knowledge that Dusty wasn't going to be there, or that fact that my friend - Evelyn - was.

As the evening strolled by, and my phone lit up with Evelyn's texts, thats when I finally decided to get prepared for tonight. I dressed in that gold trim dress I owned, and then I straightened my hair. Then I began to imagine Noah's reaction when he saw me - would he say anything? Oh goodness, I kind of hoped he did. Every girl likes to feel wanted, and I knew that for a fact, especially by people they love.

For a moment I thought I overdid it, was my dress too fancy? But after I saw the picture of what Evelyn was wearing, I decided I had dressed appropriately.

After Grandma went to bed - which was rather early - I tiptoed outside into the brisk air where the sun was slowly setting and Noah was leaning against his motorcycle in jeans and the regular style T-shirt he wears. I smiled at his appearance, but his expression was mild and full of interest.

"Why are you wearing that?" He asked with a frown, but then he made an effort to smile. "I mean, you look hot. Like really hot, it's just I don't want other guys staring at you all night"  Noah said with an amazed smile on his precious lips.  He seemed in awe as he looked at me - and I can surely say that I've never felt so good before.

"It doesn't matter, I'm not as pretty as you think I am" I said with a small attempted laugh and my pathetic little joke.  Noah only shook his head in disapproval at my comment,

"Baby, if only you could see yourself though my eyes" Noah said. The word "Baby" sounded so foreign coming from his lips, but they made me feel like a queen being talked to from my king. It's hard to explain unless you've felt it yourself - but something about it was... Exciting. I couldn't contain the blush that spread across my cheeks like wildfire.

"Are you sure you want to go? I mean, we can always change our minds" Noah said with a tiny bit of hope laced through his words. I shrugged because honestly at this point, I didn't know if I really wanted to go anymore.

"Let's just go for a little bit. We don't have to stay that long, just for a couple minutes" I said with a slight head nod. Noah didn't seem satisfied but he simply just nodded his head in agreement.

"Just for a couple minutes and then we're out of there. I got better plans for the evening." Noah said while glancing in my direction, a small smirk ignited on his lips and I began to realize that since now Noah and I were closer - I would get to see the dirty side of Noah now, not just the polite one.
