JeremiahYou probably already knew before I said his name, but at least now we can all be on the same page.
I was actually surprised that he was here. I didn't think he was friends with Evelyn, but then again, maybe he was.
For a moment I was practically stuck to the floor with superglue because my feet simply wouldn't move. It was like he had Darth Vader powers and he was holding me in place so I couldn't escape.
Him and a group of friends started towards me, and surprisingly enough I eventually lifted my feet off the ground - which seemed to be heavier than a pile of rocks. Finally I brought my finger up to Noah's shoulder.
"I'm ready to go now" I said to Noah, who seemed rather focused on eating his pizza. Noah glanced at me with a shocked look, but he nodded and started walking towards the door that seemed so far away.
All the while Jeremiah was getting closer and closer, and I couldn't help but think about what happened last time he was at a party that I was at.
"Hey Karman!" I heard Jeremiah say when his hand grabbed my arm to stop my motion. I jolted backwards to look at him face to face, he eventually let go of my arm. Noah looked confused , but suspicious at the same time. Did he recognize him from the Diner that day?
"Do you know him?" Noah asked me. So, I guess he doesn't remember. A part of me was praying to God that Jeremiah would go away, or maybe Noah would recognize him as the jerk that spilled water on me. But as I looked at Jeremiah closer I realized that his appearance did chance since then. His hair was darker, and maybe longer but that wasn't the major difference. The major difference was something I couldn't quite pin-point.
"It was that guy from the burger place, that spilled my water." I said, because I didn't feel like telling Noah more about that party. Noah instantly grew more suspicious, and I desperately hoped Jeremiah would get the hint to go away.
"Hey, that's not all babe. Remember that one time you let me feel your butt?" Jeremiah said in the most evil tone I had ever heard. He had to be the Devils second cousin or something, because I can't even express the fire that raged inside of me at his comment.
"Hey, maybe afterwards we can take you upstairs and me and my buddies can take turns with you. How does that sound, peach?" Jeremiah asked with a taunting smile on his lips.
The amount of fury that I felt was unexplainable, and my body feel like it was on fire from the heat and anger I felt.
He couldn't take a hint.
First off, Noah was right next to me. And once I heard Jeremiah's words I was suddenly speechless as Noah looked more confused than ever before, and Jeremiah's stupid grin was still stuck to his face like syrup.
"Do not talk to her like that. She's not going anywhere with you" Noah said in more sincereness than the President of the United States when he was giving a speech. My hairs stuck up on ends, and a cold chill ran down my back. Suddenly, I felt like crying - but I knew such actions were something I couldn't display.
"I can talk to her how ever I want, Asshole" Jeremiah said with more confidence than a male gorilla. I cringed, and honestly I felt like I was in the way just standing there. Noah looked furious, resembling a pro wrestler almost - despise the outfit. As soon as Noah didn't comment, or say anything in return - Jeremiah felt like he needed to add more fuel to the fire, and this time my heart went up in flames too.
