These are just some of the compliments Kwon Jiyong, G-Dragon or simply GD would usually receive from his fans and from the people around him.

As the the leader and main composer of the most famous and loved boy band in South Korea, Bigbang, he is proud of what he and his members have achieved.

However, despite the privileged life he now enjoys as a celebrity, G-Dragon or simply Jiyong, the name he would rather be called, has never forgetten his humble beginning.

At a very young age, he started training with KVT Entertainment, one of the biggest talent agencies in South Korea. His brilliant and creative mind paved the way for his well deserved celebrity "royalty" status. He is even called a music genius. Modesty aside, he can say that he is now where he always wanted to be. The top. But he admitted, the climb was never easy.

Kwon Jiyong and the rest of Bigbang members, Yong Dong Bae, Choi Seung Hyun, Lee Seung Hyun and Kang Dae Sung, spent countless hours in the studio perfecting their music, style and their identity. Sleepless nights, sore muscles, grumbling stomachs, sweat and tears are just some of the hardships they've experienced and overcame. Their efforts did pay off when just a year after their debut, their songs dominated the charts, they've won multiple awards and are adored by millions of screaming fans. Each of the members already made a name for himself. They've become top icons not only in music but in television, movies, arts and fashion as well. They all remained humble though. They are down to earth and are always thankful to the people who helped them. These traits plus their to-die-for good looks and natural swag are just some of the reasons why fans love and revere them.

Kwon Jiyong is the most famous one.
He is also the richest. He is already considrered a billionaire in Korea thanks to his entrepreneurial skills and businesses mindedness on top of his musical genius. He is said to have investments in various businesses in the food, cosmetics, clothing, infrastructure and fashion industry.

One might think that Jiyong has everything a person could ask for in his lifetime--good looks, fame and money. If you have three, love will follow. That's what others think. Not for Kwon Jiyong. Half his life he spent trying to become someone and when he did become someone, he longed to be just like any ordinary guy, to be just Jiyong. He wished he could do the things ordinary guys his age do. Like going out in a public place without being mauled by fans. On top of that, the one thing he really hoped to do is to fall in love and be happy with someone.

He witnessed his parents' love and dedication to each other and he hoped to share and experience the same kind of love with someone. He wanted to be like his father, Kwon Robert. He wanted to have his own kids--- a lot of kids.

During his early years in KVT Entertainment, he did have an opportunity to be happy in love.
He had a crush on one of his co-trainees. A half Japanese, half Korean girl who trains to be a model and an actress. He was eighteen that time and she was twenty. He would never forget the day he met her...

"How do I turn this thing on? Let's see... ( beep...beep...beep...) now this... . ( beep...beep...beep...) and woahlah!!! " exclaimed the girl.

Jiyong was enjoying a quiet time inside the empty gym in KVT building hoping he could nap. His favorite spot, a corner at the end of the row of treadmills. He was about to doze off when he heard a girl's voice. He rose from where he was lying to see who it was.
