Love Him For Me

Chapter 4- Mysterious Force

Dara opened her eyes and squinted when she realized she was looking straight at the sun. She turned her body to face the other side of her room. She just woke up from a dream. Her dream felt weird. She remembered it so vividly it seems real.

She was standing in the middle of a beautiful valley. She could smell the scent of the flowers in bloom--roses. A gentle breeze blew her face. She felt happy.
She looked ahead and saw a big tree standing in the middle of the flower bed. Under it is a girl waving at her. She walked towards the tree to where the girl is and she saw that it's  an apple tree. She could even smell the sweet scent of it's fruits. She promised to pick some of it later.
Where did she go? She asked when she noticed the girl is gone. She looked for her behind the tree and she was surprised to see her own reflection. It's like she's looking through a mirror. She stared at her own face then she smiled. Her reflection didn't smile back at her. It just looked at her with sad eyes.
All of a sudden, her reflection whispered to her:
'Follow me...'
She then felt she was sucked into darkness. She tried to see but it's just too dark. When her eyes adjusted, she saw it. A light at the end of what she now realized is a tunnel. She's inside a dark tunnel. She quickly moved towards the light. Every step a struggle. It feels like her legs are shackled. When she looked again towards the light, she saw what appears to be girl's silhouette, waving at her.
'You can do it, Dara!' the shadow shouted.
'Who are you?!' Dara shouted back.
The shadow retreated until it disappeared towards the light.
'Wait! Wait for me!' She called out.
She moved her legs and to her surprise, it's no longer heavy. She ran towards the light.
When she reached end of the tunnel, the light burned her eyes...
