Chapter 10- Without You

What makes her think she can convince him by singing lines from a song. Is she stupid or something?

But when he heard her sing his song, he thought he's heard that voice from somewhere before. Her voice isn't as powerful as the others he's heard but there is something about her tone that convinced him of one thing. Her voice is what he is looking for to sing in his song, Without you.

He cleared his throat before she's done singing.

"I still don't believe you." He told her. "Do you think by singing my song you can prove your innocence?" He added.
"Tell me, what kind of a girl strips down naked in a man's house knowing they are all alone and even walk around his house with nothing on?" He continued, teasing her.

Dara cannot believe this guy! She got mad this time at what this guy took her for. Her pride is hurt.

A girl who takes personal hygiene seriously!!! she said in her thoughts, wanting to yell at him.

"Excuse me?!Who do you think you are to begin with? Why would I seduce you, you're not even my type! Besides, I haven't even been with a guy before what would I know about seducing ?! Also, if I were to seduce someone, I'll do it only because I love him!!!" There. She did it. She gave him a piece of her mind.

"Whoah! Let's not talk about ideal types here. You are far from mine either." He retorted. Then he chuckled as he remembered what she just said. 'Haven't been with a guy?' Did she just tell him that? He was so amused at her he started laughing out loud this time.

What's so funny?! Dara felt irritated when he started laughing.
Who does he think he is? Why would a girl go through all that she went through just to seduce him. He's so full of himself! She said to herself fuming.

"Okay, let's make a deal." He stopped laughing the moment he saw her face turned so red obviously from anger. He composed himself before saying in a serious tone, "I will let you off the hook and not file a complaint against you for trespassing if you promise to do something for me."

"Trespassing? I already told you, I was here to deli--" she started protesting but he cut her off.

"Okay fine. If you don't want to, let me just call security now." He said, starting to dial a number on his phone.

"Wait!!!" She grabbed his arms to stop him but quickly lets go of it when she felt a tingling current went through her spine as their skins touched.

After a few minutes, she finally said, "Okay, I'll do it."
She was about to go out when he stopped her.

"Just where do you think you're going?" He asked while grabbing her by the arm.

"I thought you want me to do you something. Can we do it in the bedroom? I wanted to do it in the bed---" she stopped what she was saying when she saw he was holding his laughter. Then...

Bwahahaha! He started laughing uncontrollably.

Dara thought she's heard the devil himself laughed.
What is so funny this time? She asked irritated with him again.

"What are you talking about?" He asked, in between laughters. "You have such perverted ideas for a girl who said she's never been with a guy before." He continued still laughing.

Dara felt all her blood went to her face when she realized her mistake.
Stupid! She scolded herself. She wished the ground would just swallow her now. She is so embarrassed she bet even the tips of her hair are blushing too.

"Can you just please call the security now. I just want them to take me away, please." Dara said sulking. She wished to be away from this place and from him.
