Chapter 7- Returned

Closure.

This is what he came here for.

Jiyong was just about done getting dressed when he saw some dark clouds forming outside his hotel window. He looked at what he is wearing and decided his Armani suit is just too formal and what a waste it would be to just have it soaked in the rain. He went back to his closet, put on jeans, shirt and a jacket instead. He thought he will need something to cover himself from the rain and from the people who might recognize him.

He was driving around town on another rented car when he decided to stop at some random coffee shop to get some espresso. He parked his car at a corner of the shop then walked his way to the entrance. He is wearing a hoodie, a mask and shades on just in case.

He stopped at his tracks when he saw a girl's standee by the entrance smiling at him. It was a very familiar smile. He felt his hands get cold when he realized he was looking at the young Aiko. She looked exactly like Aiko before she had some beauty enhancement surgeries.

He immediately went inside. He was grateful there's just a couple of people there, mostly students, who are so intent on whatever it is they are reading. They were so occupied, no one even looked up to see who's entering.
He approached the girl in the counter to order.
He actually felt uneasy at how, the girl named Betty, based on her nameplate, is scrutinizing him.

When he's finally done ordering, he found the courage to ask her.

"Uhm, excuse me..." he interrupted the girl while she's preparing his drinks.

" ...the girl on the standee outside, do you know her?" Jiyong asked hoping she doesn't recognize him by his voice.

Betty was already suspicious as soon as this guy, wearing a hoodie, shades and mask entered the shop.

Only celebrities dress up like that in a public place. She thought. While she was taking his order, she thought his voice sounds familiar. She tried to get a better look at the face behind the mask but the guy keeps on turning his face. Maybe he is a celebrity. But what would a celebrity do here in Busan all by himself? She thought dismissing her initial assumption.

While she is preparing drinks, she heard the guy asked about the girl in the standee outside their shop.

"That's Dara. She is one of the workers here. Pretty isn't she? " Betty replied feeling proud for her friend.

"Does she still working here?" Jiyong asked. He wanted to see this girl to know once and for all if she really looks like Aiko in person.

"Oh, I'm afraid not. She's on a leave and won't be back in months I guess. Are you perhaps a model consultant?" Betty asked thinking about the last time someone took notice of Dara's standee.

"No. No, I'm not. Nevermind, I just thought she is someone I knew." Jiyong said. He took his order and hurriedly left the shop before this girl Betty see through his disguise and recognize him.

Betty was left confused. After the guy in the hoodie left, she took out her phone and started going through her instagram. She was scrolling G-Dragon's post when she saw one of GD's pictures taken when he was in the airport going to Japan. In that picture, he was wearing a mask and shades.

"Aaaaak!!!! Betty shouted. "G-Dragon was just here!!!" Betty, waved her hands frantically still screaming.

The people inside the cafe just looked at her as though she has gone crazy.

She stopped shouting embarrassed at how the customers are now looking at her. But she couldn't be wrong. She swear on her grandmother's grave, the guy who just came in is G-Dragon!
