Chaper 12- Almost

Jiyong is in Seoul to do some finishing touches to his comeback album. The president decided that he should make a solo comeback first before Bigbang does. This way, they can test the readiness of the fans to accept him again.

When he entered KVT building, the first person he looked for was Chae. He has a lot of things to discuss with and ask her. But he was told that Chae and her group is out of the country for a show.

How could he not know that? Is that how inactive he's been in KVT, he doesn't even know the whereabouts of his labelmates anymore and he even lost tab of how many other artists have joined their company in the last three years based on the many unfamiliar faces he meet in the hallways.

Although he is busy with his new album and on how to promote it, his mnd still wanders to that girl named Rosie Lee. Since that night she appeared on his doorsteps, he keeps on wondering and hoping he could see her again. He regret not asking for her contact details. He doesn't even have her phone number. Sometimes he wonder if Rosie is real or if she's just an illusion. But everytime he listens to her voice in her recording, he knew, she isn't just a dream at all.

While working inside one of the studios in KVT, he received a call from President Yang asking him to meet with him at a restaurant down town. He was told that they will meet a representative from a modeling agency to discuss a partnership in providing them with fresh faces for the new cosmetics brand they are launching. Jiyong agreed and immediately asked his manager, Joon Young, to bring him there.

Jiyong is pre-occupied about a lot of things as he look outside the window of the car. As their car pull over the restaurant where they are suppose to be in,  he saw her---Rosie,  walking past them.
I can't be wrong! That's her. Jiyong thought.
He immediately asked Joon to turn the car around and to follow the girl. He needs to talk to her.
Although confused, Joon followed Jiyong's instructions.

They slowly trailed the girl and they stop near a convenience store after they saw the girl went inside and emerged a good 15 minutes later. They followed her again as she retraced her way back to the restaurant. They saw her went inside as soon as she arrive.

Why is she in this same restaurant where he is suppose to have a meeting too? He asked curious of what--or rather who she will be meeting there. His curiosity get the best of him so he asked Joon to park their car from across the street while he spy on her. Good thing she was seated near the window so he can see her from across the street where they parked. What is she up to? He keeps on wondering. Wondering why he need to know everything about her.
He doesn't understand why he felt so irritated when he saw her lean closer while talking and sometimes laughing  with a guy. 

Are you jealous? A voice inside his head asked. He must be going crazy.

After a few minutes of watching, he decided go out of the car and go inside the restaurant and meet with the agency representative. He also  wanted to take a better look at the guy and maybe punch his face to wipe that smile off his face. He was never usually this violent but his blood curl when he thought about her, smiling sweetly at other guys. He has never felt this kind of intense emotion since Aiko died and he sure doesn't like it.

As soon as he stepped out, fans and reporters who might have received a tip that he will be there started to gather around him. Joon who followed him,  tried to shove the crowd away so he can move past them but they just wouldn't budge.
Damn! This is just one of those days when he hates being a celebrity. Getting inside an establishment has never been this difficult.
Worried that the commotion will drive Rosie and whoever she is with away, he checked back on them  through  the window, but her seat is now empty and he could only see the guy.

Where did she go? He asked.

To Joon's surprise, Jiyong suddenly turned around and walked back towards the car. Joon followed him. The crowd irritated him so he decided to just leave. He was about to call President Yang to tell him he will not be able to attend the meeting when suddenly, he saw a lady come out of the restaurant, her head covered in a scarf and she's wearing shades too.
He watched as the reporters started to follow her and crowd her. Then her scarf fell off fom her head. He saw her face and he just knew then, it was her. Rosie.
