Chapter 11- Meet You

Dara was standing in front of Seoul General Hospital. She don't know what to expect to find here but this is the first place she wanted to visit to find answers to her questions about her identity.

When she entered the hospital, she went directly to the information counter. She was greeted by an elderly women who said she remembered her and her mother and was so happy to see her healthy after 28 years. She is Mrs. Gu Lisa. She's been working in the hospital for 35 years and and was already about to retire.

"I'm so glad to see Sandra's strong little girl before I have my retirement" the kind Mrs. Gu said teary-eyed.

Dara asked Mrs. Gu all sorts of questions about her eomma and she was so happy to discover some of the similarities in personality and in looks they share.
"Unfortunately I don't have any picture of her." Mrs. Gu said sadly. "Oooh, but I bet the Personnel Department does." The old lady mentioned.

Dara knew it would be a long shot to be given access to her mother's files but Mrs. Gu was able to pull some strings and Dara is now looking at her late mother's personnel files.

Lee Sandra

She stared at her mother's name in bold print on a green folder. She's nervous about what she might find inside it.
When she flipped it open, she saw how her mother looks like for the first time. They are correct. She was beautiful. She ran her fingers through her 2x2 picture then whispered, "Nice to meet you eomma."

She went through the pages one by one. Going through all the details there about her mother. So her mother was just twenty-six when she joined SGH and when she died. When she thinks of it, she is actually older than her mother now. As she flipped through the pages one thing caught her attention. Her mother used to work in a hospital in Japan before going to Seoul and working in Seoul General Hospital. She checked the family background page but it was empty. She checked the emergency contact page next and she felt happy, there's a name written on it. She took out a pen and small notebook and copied what was written there.

If she recalls it right, Mrs. Emily Yong is the same person who took care of her mom's burial.

She returned the files and thanked the one in charge when an idea occurred to her. As someone with medical background, she wanted to check her mother's medical records as well. She wanted to know just how healthy she was and if they have any history of illnesses that runs in their blood.

When she asked Mrs. Gu if it's possile to get hold of her mother's medical records as well, Mrs. Gu told her,
"I'm sorry dear, but that was handled by the records section and I don't have access to it. But you can always request for a copy but it may take weeks before they can release it though."

That's what Dara did, she filed for a request stating that she needs the documents to establish her relationship with Sandra Lee. That she is her biological mother. The records clerk accepted her request and told her it will be available in three weeks.

That night, while in her room, Dara tried placing an international to Japan to Mrs. Emily Yong. Although the records didn't say Mrs. Yong's relationship with her mother, Dara thought she can be one of her real relatives. The only relative she may ever get to know.
The line ring thrice before she was directed to a voicemail. Dara left a message and hoped Mrs. Yong will call her back.

She also called Betty that night to tell her that she met her long time bias, G-Dragon.

"Aaaakkkk!!!!" Betty's scream almost shattered her eardrums after she told her the whole story on how she met him. Except of course their awkward moments.
