Chapter 13- Get the Girl

Mr. Yang don't know if he will be pleased with the kind of publicity Jiyong's new album specifically his title track, Without you, is getting or not. He wanted to put an end once and for all the speculations and buzz about the mysterious girl in his song so he asked Jiyong to meet him in his office one day.

"Why do you need to include some random girl's voice in your song huh Jiyong?" Who is this girl anyway that you need to use her voice instead of Chae just like I told you do huh? Who is she? Is she a celebrity already?" The president started with his chain of questions.

Jiyong just kept silent. He can't tell him why. He, himself doesn't even know why. All he knew is, this girl who looks exactly like Aiko came along just when he has decided to move on from her. That this girl can sing his song so perfectly it feels like the song was hers and not his.

"Tell me, who is she? If you like we can sign her and have her debut in KVT. I think being featured in your song is publicity enough for her. Besides, the sooner she is out, the more people would stop speculating that she is your girlfriend. I don't want anymore scandals at this time Jiyong so please... just tell me who she is. It would be a good business for us also if we get her first." Mr. Yang said trying to convince him to spill who this mysterious girl is.

The last part of what president said in a way infuriated Jiyong. Just another business for him? No, he wouldn't allow that. He wouldn't let another girl join this company and let it's policies sabotage her chances of happiness and of loving someone. He knew this too well for he has suffered enough himself. Aiko even died because of this company's selfish business policies. So no, he wouldn't let Rosie go through the same. Or better yet, he wouldn't let his chances of finding happiness again be compromised when Rosie joins this company.

"I don't know her that well. She just appeared in my house one day, I asked her to sing the song and that was it." Jiyong said. Pretty much summarizing exactly what happened that night he met Rosie.

"If I hear from her again, I will let you know Sir." He added ending their conversation.

A few days after his conversation with Mr. Yang, Jiyong receieved an invitation to screen the future models of 'Moonbright' the cosmetics arm of KVT that they will soon launch. He is in one of the conference rooms in KVT with Yong DongBae waiting for the screening to start. Yong Dong Bae is also one of the investors so he was invited to do the screening as well.  They were given the portfolios of each of the prospect models and as he was lazily browsing through their profiles, one of them caught his attention.

Name: Park Sandara
Age: 28 years old
From: Busan

He looked closely at the pictures of the girl smiling so sweetly and innocently in her photos.

Then he remembered:

'That's Dara! She's one of the workers here. Pretty isn't she?'

Jiyong then concluded that this is the girl could be the same girl from the coffeeshop standee in Busan.
So, her real name is Sandara. Jiyong thought as he finally knew the name behind the face. A sense of excitement washed over him at the idea of finally meeting this girl. But there's a part in him that feels he already knew who this girl is. That this Sandra and Rosie he met at his house is the same person. Well, he will have to find out for himself.

He was so disappointed however,  when the only candidate he was so eager to meet did not show up. He asked the models' agent what happened to her but the agent told him, he had no idea why she didn't show up that day. They also tried to contact her but she keeps on rejecting their calls.
