We crossed the camp borders and we see the dining hall, the cabins, and the big house all of the campers looked at us like we had three heads.
I walked up to the big house and there was Mr. D. looking at us all curiously.
"Hello and who might you be?" He said sounding bored out of his mind.
"I am Brittany and these are my friends Elizabeth, Vanessa, Katie, and Chelsea" I said pointing to each of them.
"Do any of you know who your godly parent is?" He said questioningly clearly not seeing any resemblance to any of the gods.
"No we don't, where do we go now?" I ask though already knowing the answer but wanted to play the part.
"You will stay in the Hermes cabin until you are claimed. Later today we will play capture the flag so I'll send Peter to get you and teach some basic sword fighting skills." Mr. D says as he points to the Hermes Cabin.
We walked to the Hermes Cabin and there were a few people in there. They looked at us judging our appearance.
"Ah so you must be the new demigods we heard about." Said a boy with blue eyes and brown hair.
"Yeah, word travels fast huh?" I ask jokingly wanting to break the ice.
"Yeah, so are you children of Hermes or undetermined?" He said while looking at us and more or less checking Katie out.
"Undetermined, what is your name?" I asked him.
"My name is Harry, but you can call me Ray." He said as he shook our hands.
"I'm Brittany and this is Elizabeth, Chelsea, Katie, and Vanessa." I said as a familiar looking boy walks in and asks us to come with him.
"I'm Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon." said Percy, he looks like his father. I could help but to have a slight smile.
"What are we going to do tod..." I said as I got cut off by a girl who favored Athena, this must be Annabeth I thought.
"Percy! Percy did you hear about the new...- oh never mind I see you have met them." she says as she runs up to Percy and sees my coven next to him. She looks at us and I can tell she thinks something is off about us.
"I'm Annabeth, daughter of Athena." she said while hugging Percy lightly.
"I'm Brittany and I'll let them tell you there names this time." I said smiling at the cuteness and waiting to take a break and letting my coven speak for themselves.
"Elizabeth", Elizabeth waves and smiles excitedly.
"Katie", Katie gives a small embarrassed smile and nods.
"Vanessa", Vanessa said her name confidently and shakes her hand.
"Chelsea", Chelsea said her name quietly but gave a cheerful confident grin.
As they all finishes saying their names we continued to walk until Percy gave us each a sword that he thought would suit us. I held mine in my hand feeling it and smiled seeing the balance was perfect.
"Annabeth and I are going to teach you basic sword skills." Percy said as he split us up in two groups and taught us each the basics.
Capture the flag
"Annabeth has the Poseidon, Hermes, and Apollo cabins." said Chiron.
"Clarisse has the remaining cabins." Chiron said as he eyed the girl with brown braided hair.
The game started and Annabeth told us to run to a big rock that's were the flag was and that I should take it because no one would think I'd get it. So my coven and I ran our way up to this huge rock and we climbed up and there was the flag. I went to grab it but a dagger flew past me and there was Clarisse standing about 10 feet away from me.
"Don't you dare new blood." she said as she walked up to me sword in hand.
My friends gathered next to me and prepared to fight. The clouds began to swirl around the sky and lightning cracked across the sky. Everyone even Mr. D and Chiron gathered around the rock. Clarisse stepped back and everyone's eyes went wide. The swords in are hands turned in to different weapons.
Vanessa had a bow and arrow that were glowing gold and silver hues, Elizabeth had a double edged battle axe that now had red cracks that had lava running through it making the strong metal glow a light orange.
Katie had a spear that looked to be made from jade and had vines growing around it, Chelsea had a double edged sword that seemed to almost glow yellow with heat and if you focused hard enough one could see the smallest of flames around it.
I had a trident and on the other side of it had Hades symbol but it was also a sharp blade and the whole thing radiated with lightning.
Something told me raise it to the sky and I did, lightning shot down from the sky to it and my covens weapons. Everyone stared above our heads in awe. I looked above my head and every symbol of every god and goddess but the ones for Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades were bigger signifying the more dominant powers. We were claimed.
Vanessa had Apollo, Aphrodite, Artemis, Hestia, Hera, and Ares. Elizabeth had Apollo, Hades, Athena, Hermes, Hephaestus, and Demeter.
Katie was claimed by Hades, Athena, Apollo, Persephone, Hestia, and Hecate. Chelsea was claimed by Apollo, Hera, Aphrodite, Nike, Iris, and Selene. Then three bright lights appeared.
