Brittany's POV
"I want to throw a masquerade ball, a costume party, and I want to have a coronation for my coven and the covens of the other territories. A three day festival for all species, except humans of course. I'll iron out the details with you later" I said to Aro as he agreed with me and prattled on about how it's been a while since they've had a ball, as I was drawn into a vision.Vision
A pink blanket, a bottle, and a note. An infant crying. And me saying a name Lural Rain Hale Cullen Volturi as I pick up a peachy colored blur out side the castle
End of visionWhat the fuck was that? I'm going to go look out side to see if its there yet. Aro, Marcus, and Caius look at me questionably.
"I had a vision but it was fuzzy and I'm going to check it out now. Y'all can come, but someone has to go get the others." I said walking way tailed by Aro and Caius, while Marcus left to find the others.
I walked out to the door and I could hear a small heartbeat. I opened the door and there was a baby girl. Probably not even a month old, I picked her up as the others came.
Carlisle saw and was going to take her to check her out to make sure she was healthy. I hissed at him and it surprised me a bit.
Realizing what I did, I gave Carlisle an apologetic look. I looked down at the small bundle in my arms and smiled. It felt like something clicked and she smiled. We had bonded.
"This is Lural Rain Hale Cullen Volturi, my daughter." I said smiling looking up at everyone.
"Can I give her a check up? And run a DNA test?" Carlisle asked holding out his arms, showing he was of no threat seeing my eyes flicker red.
"You may, but why a DNA test?" I asked holding the baby closer not wanting to hand her over.
"She doesn't smell like a normal human, she smells slightly magical, or woodsy, like a fairy or elf but there is human there too of course." Carlisle said taking her from my arms. I frowned and looked down at the ground.
He walked away as I picked up stuff that was laying next to the baby. There was a note saying this person didn't have the financial resources to take care of a baby and that they weren't parent material. But I don't think that was it.
There was even adoption papers. I filled them out. But I stumbled across a page that made me a bit agitated. It was about a fatherly figure, or a dad, I didn't really have anyone to fill that quota yet.
I left that blank and filled the rest of it out. I walked back in to go find Caius. I went in the throne room and he was on his throne along with Aro and Marcus.
"Caius how do you feel about being a dad?" I asked. Aro and Marcus stared at him in shock and I had to stifle a giggle.
"I swear I haven't been in a sexual relationship with her yet, I swear." Caius said with his hands in the air. Marcus chuckled, causing everyone's jaw to drop.
"No, will you be Lural's father, we're mates anyway you don't really have that much of a choice. Even though you find me repulsive because of the werewolf." I said smirking, but it hurt stating the obvious.
"I will, do I have to sign anything?" Caius said smiling at me even though I could see the pain in his eyes.
"Yes, here are the papers, and you can have Felix send them off." I said handing him the papers and bowed to him.
"I'll have these filled out as soon as possible." Caius said nodding and smiled kindly at me.
"Thank you Caius." I said smiling back as I head to Carlisle's office to go check on my baby.
