Rin's POV

I slowly heard the noise from the guy's dorm dying down. Neru was on her phone, texting, Lily and Luka were looking through their old high school stuff while I was listening to the dorm next to me. Once the noise had died down, I didn't know what to do as I sat on my bed boredly, reading through my books.

"Who are you texting?" I asked Neru as she sighed, putting down her phone (for once). Not to be mean but, she does text quite a lot more than the average person.

"That was Teto, asking where I was. Again, it's really annoying how they have to check in on me whenever I'm not with them. I mean, it's better hang in out with you guys in this college dorm than a crammed tour bus where Miku gets all of her space," Neru said as I nodded.

"It's true. By any chance, could you sign this for me? My mom's a big fan the last time I checked during summer. So, I wanted to get her a birthday present," I told her as Neru frowned, staring at the phone she had in her hand.

"Your lucky to still have a mom. I watched her die before my eyes. She was sick for quite a while, and the last thing she gave me was a hand me down old flip phone, and the gift of music," Neru said as I sat there in shock.

"I'm sorry to hear that," I said as I saw Lily and Luka were in their own world with their high school stuff.

"I'll burn a CD of a list of solos I have, I guess. Or does she want the whole Project Diva package?" Neru asked and took a sharpie out.

"W-Well, the solos, if that's not much trouble. I promised her I would celebrate during summer vacation, once the finals and the festival is over. The freshman are hosting, again. Hopefully it won't be as disastrous as the year I was freshman," I said and chuckled a little.

"Finals, are next week, right?" Neru asked. I nodded and laughed nervously.

"Yeah, they are. I don't know if Len even studied I reviewed the material with him in the library once and, he's really spazzing out," I said as Neru muffled a snicker.

"He really is a bit of an idiot, isn't he?" Neru asked as I laughed and closed my book.

"Well, he's my idiot, for sure," I said as Neru smiled sincerely. Lily Waved and went back to her dorm (Author: Just incase you didn't realize I capitalized Waved because... Vocaloid pun reasons) Since Neru was in the college, she had a dorm here, too.

"How cheesy is that? I'm honestly sorry, if anything bad happens to you or Len. If Miku ruins it all before the finals, it could be all over. But your a strong girl. Len's a strong guy. Of course, in the heart," Neru said with an expression of worry.

"It's okay, Neru. I'll go through it if something happens. Besides, do we have to go to our original dorms now? The guys stopped talking already, which means it's lights out. Also, Lily went back to her room. Of course, I enjoy your company here, thank you very much. But, I'm just scared that you might get in trouble," I said as Neru nodded, taking her things with a thumbs up as she walked to the door.

"Just be cautious, with Miku. And keep an eye out for Len. I'm sure he's keeping an eye on you, too. He's a good guy, a little brother to me," Neru said and waved. "Also I'll give you the CD tomorrow or the next Music club meeting."

I watched her walk out of the door as Luka had already gotten ready for bed. "Hey, Rin-Chan, aren't you going to bed already? Finals are in a week, don't want to be late," Luka said and slipped into the sheets of her bed and turning off her light while mine was still on.

"Y-Yeah I'll just finish up these last few sections in my literature class," I said as Luka nodded.

"Don't work yourself over, okay? You're one of the smartest in the whole school. Of course, there's that nerd freak Tonio and other brainiacs wanting to be engineers as their course. I'm going to be a writer, or having to do with fine arts. If not, I'll open up my own cafe, owned by Gakupo and I. Good night, Rin," Luka said and closed her eyes as she turned to face the wall when she was sleeping as she hugged her stuffed toy fish.

I sighed and looked through my books in the last chapters of Romeo and Juliet, which I have read at least ten times this whole year and no one would want to read the quick love story nor the tragedy that happened at the end with the both of them dying.

But my weakest subject was Literature, so I did have to do something about it. I had to up my game if I had to ace this year's finals.

It wasn't long before I got a call from an anonymous caller. "Who else would stay up as late as me?" I muttered and thought of Len, remembering how much he drank he could probably not even pick up a phone. Probably passed out, or something.

I picked up the phone and heard laughter. "You and Len might just end up like Romeo and Juliet. An engagement with a tragedy. Hm, no wonder some people call you the Terror Twins," Miku's voice said and hung up.

I put down the book and my phone, turning the lights off and going to sleep. I quivered I fear at the thought, was she going to sabotage us? No, I need to be like Neru said. I need to be strong, keep an eye out for Len, and everything would be fine.

But would it? After all that's happened, should I trust my instincts after all?
