Rin's POV
I screamed out in joy when I saw that Rinto came over to the college. And he brought me Zola Project tickets. "Rinto! I thought you said you hated that band!" I exclaimed as he handed me the tickets. Rinto just laughed and casually put his hands in his pockets.
"Well, I do. I'm just saying that I got a real job with my real paycheck and a real house and real stuff. So, I thought I could give you something over the times I missed your birthday. The other ticket's for Mr. Len Kagamine," Rinto said and winked.
"Rin!" I heard Len exclaimed as he ran through the hallways. Sprinting, even. He eventually stopped, panting when he stood next to me with the most confused yet funny look on his face.
"Len? Are you okay? You look like you've been attacked, or something," I said as Len stood up, breathing normally.
"I heard you scream so, I thought something was happening," Len said as I noticed Miku behind him. "Look, there's news with the Miku thing. Can we talk about it in the hallway? Not in the cafeteria? Where there are a huge lot of people watching if we did?"
I turned to see Miku as she waved. She almost looked, innocent. But what about all the stuff going on with her on the news with her being the number one diva? And, what happened in music club?
"Are you two in detention?" I asked, finally figuring it out. The fact that Miku had a feather duster in her hand and Len's white school uniform looked a bit wet, due to maybe cleaning something.
The both of them nodded. I took my things that were sitting in between Neru and Luka. "Okay. I'm going to clean with you guys. I need to ask the both of you a bit more questions," I said as Miku nodded in agreement and the three of us walked in the hallways.
Len was gone, refilling the buckets with water and Miku dusting and organizing the books while I cleaned the tables. "So, did you say you were innocent?" I asked as Miku sighed.
"I am, at least, what I think to be innocent. I am not trying to get Len back. Just please don't tell my band mates that I told you," Miku said as I paused for a bit, and nodded as she continued with her story.
"AKaito cheated on me with Neru as I got revenge on their whole family by ruining Kaito's relationship and Taito's and Kikaito's. The reasoning for the thing in music club was that I was tired, and I just had to say good for everything. But for you, I was okay then I started to feel tired. I came back here, because of the college. Teto's just in the middle of things but Neru..," Miku said and started to trail off.
"Neru, is the actual diva in our whole group, just pinning it on me by changing the names a bit."
My eyes widened when she pulled out a few magazines holding articles of Project Diva, mainly Miku.
"Kaito is meaning AKaito," I said as I pointed to another one saying Len.
"What about him?" I asked as Miku chuckled.
"Len is Len. The Len Kagamine we know. She wanted to get him back. Before Len ever met me, Neru, was his first girlfriend. All the way back in middle school. And obviously, Neru had a grudge when they broke up and Len was with me in freshman. Then he jumped to you. Honestly, I was okay with my relationship. But it was better with Len. All I'm saying, is that he learned how to be a playboy," Miku said as I raised one eyebrow.
"I-I don't know what to believe," I said, confused at what was going on. First, Neru. Now, Miku? What's next, Teto?
"Please, believe me. Or at least, choose a side. Neru has been meaning to quit the band and go her own way. But if she quits the band and makes it solo, then people like Teto and I can't stop her. She'll be chaos," Miku said as I seemed shocked.
"I-" I was cut of by the sound of the door opening with Len holding buckets and song we. We got back to working as Len piped in.
"Did you tell her everything?" Len asked Miku as she nodded, looking at him for a second then back at me.
"I told her everything I know. At least, hopefully she'll believe me," Miku said as I shrugged, continuing to clean the tables with windex and things.
"You can't really blame her. Out of all the stuff that Neru told us, and the proof with the texting, really we don't know how to choose sides," Len said as I looked at him, and he had a worried expression on his face. I nodded in agreement.
"Well, I could convince you! I mean, after school. An hour is all I need. Or, maybe more if you want to be stubborn. Just, please. Believe me. My whole life, people have thought of me as some diva with Neru's actions. It couldn't be me, to do all that stuff," Miku said, almost looking as if she was pleading.
"Actually, we were going to a Zola Project concert after school. Rinto gave me tickets for Len and I," I said and held up the tickets as Len nodded in agreement.
"I understand," Miku said and we spent the rest of the time, cleaning the abandoned library. Now, it looked almost as good as new.
As soon as the bell rang, I grabbed my things as Miku left first. Len and I went to return the stuff as we talked in the hallway.
"Where were you?" Len asked as I sighed.
"I was in class. And my break. And during my break, I'm in the cafeteria," I said as Len sighed in relief. Now we just stood there, awkwardly.
"I have to go to cla-"
"Wait," Len said and grabbed my hand. I looked at him as if he was just a normal person. Not the Len I knew.
"Before Len ever met me, Neru, was his first girlfriend. All the way back in middle school. And obviously, Neru had a grudge when they broke up and Len was with me in freshman. Then he jumped to you. Honestly, I was okay with my relationship. But it was better with Len. All I'm saying, is that he learned how to be a playboy."
"I have to go. I'm going to be late. And I don't want to end up like you," I muttered and girly and stormed off into the lecture hall.
