When I woke up, Dean wasn't next to me. I suddenly got a pit in my stomach. What if he left when I was sleeping? Would he really lie to me about never leaving me?

When I quickly sat up with the realization that he might have, I saw a figure sitting in the chair by the window. Most of the lights were off, so I couldn't see his face. I only saw the silhouette of his body.

I let out a breath. Dean stayed. He was just sitting in the chair. His legs were crossed, and his head resting on his hand; his other gripped the armrest. I knew he was awake, I could feel him watching me.

"Dean, what's wrong?" I asked as I tried to understand why he was on the chair and not the bed. I could see the outline of his clothes. He got dressed already, was it time to leave?

When he didn't answer me, the pit grew larger in my stomach. Something was wrong. He wasn't moving. I knew he was awake though; his fingers were tapping the armrest.

"Is it time to go?" I pressed, just wanting to hear him say something. He finally moved, lifting his head from his hand. But he didn't say anything. Instead, he reached over to the lamppost next to him, and turned it on.

It wasn't Dean sitting in the chair. It was Edward.

"Why'd you leave so early?" Edward asked me, threat clear in his voice. He was wearing all black. His shirt was unbuttoned, revealing his chest. His dirty blonde hair was spiked up, as I remember it. He had a scruff on his chin, the hair dark and brown. The light shaped his face, almost making it look like a skull. I couldn't see his eyes, but I knew they were a gray color from memory. From here, they looked black.

"Ed-Edward," was the only word I could muster out. I could feel my heart beat from inside my chest and I felt like he could see it. I sat up straight, ready to get up if necessary. I looked to my bedside table, where I had put my gun. It wasn't there.

"Looking for this?" his eerie voice said. I quickly snapped my head to him. He was holding my pistol in his hand as he showed it to me. He eyed it.

Dammit.

Then he ejected the magazine from it, and threw the unloaded pistol at my feet. There was no point in touching it; it was totally useless. He held the bullets.

"It won't do you any good now," he laughed as he waved the magazine in his hand. He stood up from the chair, and I unintentionally scooted back on the bed until I hit the headrest with a thud.

"Didn't you miss me?" he mocked further with that cruel smile on his face I had seen many times before. My heart was beating hard and fast. Edward was unpredictable. I don't know what he'll do next.

"Wh-what are y-you doing h-here?" I sputtered out, trying to stall somehow.

He stopped in his tracks and turned his head like a confused puppy. Except, Edward wasn't a puppy. He was a wolf; a scary wolf that had murdered my family and abused me for years.

A cruel smile appeared on his lips; the same smile that he used before he hurt me. I tried to back up more on the bed, but he had me cornered.

"Why, I'm here to get what belongs to me, my dear," he smiled. I stopped breathing when he walked closer to me and put his arms on the bed around me, holding me in place. His hand grabbed the headrest above my head, restricting me from moving. He was only a couple inches from my face and he stared at me.

Just then, I heard Dean's faint yelling of my name in the distance. I couldn't find a source for them, it seemed like a dream. They seemed to come from above me, but only Edward was in the room.

"Catherine!"

Edward froze, and turned his head to the side, listening to Dean's calls. He slowly turned his head back to me with an eerie smile painted itself on it.

"Looks like your prince charming is here to save you."

His eyes pierced into mine, freezing me in my spot.

"For now." Edward threatened. It made my heart skip five beats.

"Catherine! Wake up!"

I was sleeping? This feels so damn real.

"Until next time, my dear," he whispered as he kissed my cheek. It sent an eerie chill throughout my body, making me shiver.

"Catherine!" Dean's voice was getting louder and closer. I wanted to look around the room for him, but my eyes were glued to Edward's.

"Better wake up, dear. Prince charming is calling out for you," he smiled. I couldn't move. How the hell was I supposed to wake up? I would've done that a while ago if I knew how to!

Edward grabbed my shoulders and shook me.

His voice seemed to mix with Dean's as he spoke, "Wake up!"

I was still frozen.

Edward shook me again, this time with Dean's voice.

"Catherine, dammit! Wake up!"
