The colors of the park lit the whole night up. The blues, reds, yellows, and purples made the night seem like a wonderland. The playful screams of the people on the rides made me smile and wanted to scream with them. The faint tunes of the rides created a white noise to the amusement park's demeanor. The excitement flooded my body and I couldn't help but act a little childish when it came to choosing which rides to go on. I had so much excitement that it was coming out of my pores of my skin as sweat, and I had taken my flannel off and tied it around my waist.

"Come on Dean! Just one!" I pleaded with the man who refused to go on a rollercoaster with me. We were standing in front of one of the many rollercoasters in the park–this one was the smallest out of all of them. I grabbed his wrist as I hopped up and down, my small tantrum becoming obvious. He only gave me a stubborn look, as he shook his head no.

"No. Go with Jess or Sam," he retorted as he tried to get me to agree with him. I only dropped my face with disappointment. All of the previous rides, I've gone with Jess, or Sam, or both at the same time. I've let Dean by with that excuse each time, but now I was getting upset. One ride. That was all I was asking.

"I already went on every other ride with them," I started, as my voice got low with disappointment and sadness, "I want to go on one with you." I took my hand away from his wrist as I looked down at the floor.

"Come on, Dean. You're being ridiculous," Sam interrupted as he came closer to me. I looked up to him and turned the corner of my lips up a little as a 'thanks'. But the sadness only pushed them back down again.

"No, Sammy. I'm not going on any rollercoasters," Dean stood his ground as he replied to his little brother. As they bickered at each other, I looked at a pirate ship ride that swung itself back and forth. Sam and Dean's voices became white noise along with the yelling and screaming of the people on the rides all around me. I only looked at the pirate ship, its motion trapping me in a daze. Then someone caught my eye. There was a man standing behind the ship and each time the ship swung its repeating route, it would block him for a moment. He remained standing, facing me, with his arms at his sides. From where I was standing, it looked like he was staring at me. I could barely see him, but I felt like I knew him. Just as my brain was about to make the connection, the ship blocked him again. When it swung to the left a split second later, the man was gone. My head was filled with confusion as I wondered where he went. Was I just seeing things? He disappeared so quickly...

I was too consumed in my chaotic thoughts to realize that Sam had been snapping his fingers in front of my face while saying my name. I flinched as I came back to them while blinking my eyes.

"Hmm, mhm.. W-what?" I mumbled as I forced myself to look from the ship back to Sam. Everyone was looking at me and I took a look at every one of them. They each had their own set of confused glances that pushed me to explain myself. I just shrugged it off as something that didn't happen.

"I thought I saw someone, but I was just... seeing things," I explained as I glanced back to the ship to see if the man was there. But he wasn't. I turned my head back to the group, but their confused expressions didn't fade away. I looked to Sam and silently hoped he would just let it go because I didn't have a better explanation. Thankfully, he picked up on it and changed the subject.

"Well, Dean said he would go on the rollercoaster with you."

The excitement came back and I smiled large. I looked to Dean who tried his hardest to keep the smile under control but it eventually broke its way through.

"Really?!" I excitedly asked looking at Dean. He shook his head a little and looked at me with his smile.

"Yeah," then his face got serious and he lifted his finger at me, "but just this one time." I kept my smile as I nodded my head and put out my hand for him. He gave Sam an 'I can't believe you're making me do this' look and then took my hand. I led him to the rollercoaster and we sat down. When the harness came down over Dean, he tensed up. I put my hand on his to give him some comfort.
