From Chapter 33:
I walked back to Katilyn with a mischievous smile on my face as wide as Cheshire the Cat's. Katilyn was standing there with her hands on her hips and a fake scowl on her face.
"So, who's ready to lose at Street Rippers 3?" I asked with a smile still plastered on my face.
"You are," Katilyn replied smugly.
"You're on!"

Chapter 34:
After 3 long hours of playing video games, Katilyn and I finally headed home. I had a fake scowl on my face disguising my smile while she just laughed at my failure. Apparently before the date she researched some cheat codes so that she could have an easy victory on all of her favorite games and I was pretending to be mad and whining that it was unfair.
"Stop being such a sore loser. There were no rules so I didn't cheat."
I sticked out my tongue and she returned the favor.
"Keep your eyes on the road, genius."
Suddenly my phone rang playing the song 'Hey Soul Sister' by Train. I looked at the caller ID and Crystal's face popped on the screen.
Why the hell would she call me? I thought to myself.
"I don't know maybe because she's your best friend?" Katilyn answered.
"What?"
"You were thinking out loud," she said with her eyes still on the road ahead of us.
"Oh."
"Are you upset? You know you can talk to me whenever you need someone to talk to."
"No, I'm fine."
"So what happened between you two?"
"You know how they say in life sometimes people leave your life for a reason?"
"Yea."
"Well, I thought Crystal and I were supposed to be good friends but I finally found that reason. But it's ok I'm not sad that we're not friends anymore, I'm upset that I blamed myself for it."
"Don't worry Sophia. You won't be unhappy forever."
When we get home all I can think or say is: bed. I wanted to just knock out on my bed so badly. After this extremely stressful and confusing day all I want to do is snuggle into my pillow and forget about my life just for once. Once I reach my bed, I kicked off my shoes and jump onto what feels like a cloud of feathers. The last thing on my mind was what Katilyn said. I won't be unhappy forever.
