Chapter 8

CHAPTER 8

Laurens POV

Skylar and I were on our way to meet Eleanor and the boys at the Diner, I will admit I was a little nervous about meeting Liam, Niall, Harry and Zayn but if they are anything like Louis than I have nothing to worry about, Plus Skylar said that they were super nice and welcoming and just really down to earth guys which was really calming to hear.

Skylar looked nice today she wore a pair of overalls but they were shots not pants and then she wore a white cropped t-shirt underneath she had her hair out naturally curled. She has a little bit of makeup on, just some foundation, mascara and some pinky peach colored lip gloss. She wore some white high top converse. I wore a pair of dark denim blue jeans and a top that says ‘California 86’ on the front and some black vans on my feet. “Are you excited?” Sky asked me “Yeah I am” I said back to her. Within a couple of minutes we arrived at the diner. I parked the car in an empty car space, turned off the engine and got out. We walked over and entered through the doors to see Louis, Eleanor and the other boys waiting in the front. We walked over to them and said hello “Hey guys” Skylar said. “Hey Sky” Harry Styles said walking over to her and gave her a massive hug. “Hey haz” she said back, Whoa, they are already up nicknames! “Hello, I’m Lauren” I said to them all as they all gave me hugs with the cute little kiss on the cheek from Zayn. “Table for 8 please” Niall said to the lady as she guided us over to a table.

We all sat down and had a look at the menu. There was still breakfast being served so we all had to have breakfast which was fine by me because I love breakfast foods. We chatted about my life generally because they didn’t know me. After about 20 minutes our food we ordered had arrived. Eleanor and Skylar shared a small stack of pancakes; I had French toast as well as Zayn, Harry, Louis and Liam all had eggs and bacon and Niall he had lot of very thing I think.

We all started eating in silence and every now and then someone would as me a question or say something but apart from that it was silent but it was a comfortable silence not an awkward silence.

Everyone finished her food, Eleanor then gave Louis a little nudge and when everyone saw that they all sat up straight. What? “Okay so as you know we are all going on tour in a week and a bit right?” Louis said. “Yeah of course” Skylar said “Well uh, we were all talking and Eleanor came up with idea of uhh-“ he stopped, he was really nervous. “We were wondering if you two girls would like to come on tour to Australia with us, Skylar has always wanted to go to Australia and Lauren is already apart of the gang, we could all be together and yeah-ah it will be fun” He finally spat out. “Wow-uh, That would be amazing, but we don’t have that type of money to go to Australia” Skylar said after a couple of seconds of silence. “It’s all paid for” Niall said quickly trying to persuade us. “It will be so much fun babe” Harry said grabbing hold of Skylar’s hand. I said nothing, I was so shocked, One Direction just asked us to go on tour with them. “Please? I don’t wanna be away from you for 2 months” Louis said to us but mainly aiming it towards Skylar. “Please babe, we will have the best time ever!” Eleanor said enthusiastically. Skylar looked at me and said “I’m in if you’re in” the only thing I could say was “WE”RE GOING TO AUSTRALIA” after that everyone cheered and clapped. “Wait what about work?” I said realizing we still have commitments here in London. “Uh-I was kinda hoping you would say yes, so this morning I called your work and got you both leave for 2 months, I hope that’s okay?” Niall said “Lucky we said yes” I said “So you’ll come?” Zayn asked “Yeah we’ll come!” YAY everyone cheered once again. “We are gonna have so much fun! We can go shopping in Melbourne and we can see the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House! It’s going to be amazing!” Eleanor said really fast. “Just a tad excited there babe?” Skylar said and we all started laughing. After about 30 minutes of just talking about Australia we got the check which Harry paid and we all got up and walked out of the diner. “Come back to the flat? We can research things we can do in Australia” Harry said. “Yeah okay” Skylar and I both said at the same time. We had 1 car because the boys and El walked her. I drove my car back to their flat with El, Louis and Zayn while Skylar, Niall, Harry and Liam all walked.

Harrys POV

Skylar, Niall, Liam and I all walked back to the flat while the rest of the gang went in Laurens car. I really like Lauren, as a friend of course, she is so funny and genuine.

Skylar and I were walking together a couple of meters behind Niall and Liam. “Australia is going to be amazing” She said to me. “I know right, I was there last year for the Up All Night tour, Its incredible there its easily one of my favorite countries I have been to! You’re finally going!” I said to her. “I cant wait” was all she said. We were walking really close to each other our hands touched, we looked up at each other, I grabbed her hand and held it. She looked up at me again and shyly smiled. Skylar and I walked along together holding hands talking about anything really. Then I noticed Niall kept looking at us, he didn’t look the happiest either, I think Skylar noticed too because she let go of my hand and coughed awkwardly. After 2 more minutes of walking we arrived at the flat. The others were already there because they drove. I couldn’t help but ask myself. ‘was I developing feelings for Skylar? Why was Niall angry? Is he aswel?’ We got to the front door of the flat and I stopped just before the door. “Whats up?” Skylar asked. “Nothing, im just really happy your coming on tour with us, I get to see your pretty little face everyday” I said and then, then I just kissed her, gently on the lips, she kissed me back. I pulled away after I gave her a quick peck but before she could say anything I walked inside.
