CHAPTER 19

Skylar’s POV

“I don’t know what to do, Deo” I heard Niall’s voice that woke me from my sleep, what was he talking about? I kept my eyes closed pretending to be asleep as I listened to their conversation, I know it was wrong but I couldn’t help myself. “Tell her how you feel mate” Deo said to Niall, “where would I even start, Skylar I fell in love with you as soon as I laid eyes on you, I hope you feel the same, Niall mimicked himself in a sarcastic voice. My heart skipped what felt like a thousand beats when he said Love and my name in the same sentence. He loves me? “Yeah, something along those lines, but maybe not so direct you might scare her” Deo joked clearing trying to lighten Niall’s mood. “But I don’t think she likes me like that, she doesn’t love me” I could hear Niall’s voice shutter. “You’ll be surprised” Deo said “What?” Niall asked “I know for a fact that she does” Deo replied “She told me last night, after you went into your room” Deo said. “I know, I heard her talking to you last night” Niall said and I couldn’t help but feel a little embarrassed, even though I was ‘asleep’. “Then what are you worried about” Deo asked “I’m not good enough for her, she is amazing and caring and the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, she has her future already planned out for university and living in England and I am travelling the world, she is so kind and thoughtful and I’m, I’m just me” Niall finished, “Your kidding me right” Deo laughed “She likes you for you Niall, she finds you so amazing, the why she explained you to me last night was something I can only describe as love” Deo said, Love? Did I love Niall? Oh.My.God I love Niall. “Sky, Skylar babe are you okay?” Niall gently shook me, I slowly opened my eyes and look towards the boy I am in love with, “I think you were having a nightmare” Niall said to me as he rubbed my arm for comfort, I must have been fidgeting while I admitted to myself I love Niall. It’s best to just go along with it. “Yeah I, I was, thanks for waking me up” I said to him then excused myself to go to the bathroom. Wow, I am in love, It’s so clear to me now! I have fallen head over heels for that blonde hair boy. He makes me so happy, makes me feel like I’m the only girl in the world. My thoughts were interrupted by the captain’s voice coming over the speaker asking everyone to take their seats for landing; I made my way back to my seat and did up my seat belt ready for landing.

“This is nice” Niall spoke as we walked through the almost empty airport “All the fans and paparazzi must be at the hotel or stalking the other boys” Deo laughed, we collected our luggage and got into the car with no trouble at all. The drive was about 3 or 4 minutes to the hotel, the front of the hotel was packed with fans, but thankfully no paparazzi here, Paul the boys main security guard and manger met us out the front of the hotel, there was probably 50 or more fans out the front but they were behind a barrier that was set up, the fans were being really respectful and Paul allowed Niall to go and talk to the fans and take some pictures and things, Surprisingly the fans asked for pictures of Deo and I aswel which was kind of strange getting asked for picture or autograph. After about 15 minutes of chatting with fans we went inside the hotel and up to the suite and Niall swiped the key card and unlocked the door. We walked into the sweet and Niall being Niall shouted “THE PARTY’S HERE” which made Deo and I laugh. “HEY!” Louis screamed running and give me a massive hug “Hey buddy” I said back as we end our embrace, “SKYLARRRRRRRR” I heard Eleanor shout as she ran into the room “ELEANORRRRRRRRR” I shouted back and hugged her “Hey don’t leave me out” I heard Lauren say “LOZ” I said and she joined the hug. Everyone laughed, Liam, Zayn and Harry all walked into the room along with Calum, Luke, Michael and Ashton who arrived here earlier this morning. I went along and greeted everyone leaving Harry until last; I’m not exactly sure why but my mind told me to. After I said hello to everyone else I walked over to Harry, he was wearing his trademark black skinny jeans, a white V-neck t shirt and boots. “Hey stranger” I said to him “Hey Skylar” he said and pulled me in to a tight hug. “How was Melbourne?” He asked me with a small smile “It was amazing, such a beautiful city” I replied “I missed you” Harry said out of the blue which kind of caught me of guard, “Ditto” was all I could say back until Deo walked over. “Harry this is, this is Deo, Niall’s cousin” I said to Harry, introducing Niall and Deo. “Hi, how are you?” Harry asked Deo making conversation and within minutes they were talking about golf so I just let them continue and I walked back over to the others, Zayn’s arms were wrapped around Lauren’s waist and the same with Louis and Eleanor. “ooo la la, tell me the gossip” I said to Zayn and Lauren and earned a laugh from the others “Sorry babe, we don’t kiss and tell” Lauren said and we all laughed again.

The rest of the day we just lounged around the hotel, it’s now 7:00pm and we were all in the lounge room watching ‘Home and Away’ on TV. And I was currently sprawled across the couch with my feet on Niall lap, Australia was so hot and the humidity was killing me. “Here you go babe” Harry said as he handed me the glass of water I asked for when he went to get a beer from the fridge, I could feel Niall tense up as Harry called me babe, when Harry called me babe it didn’t have the same wring it as it did when Niall did, when Niall called me babe, or even said my name it made my heart flutter and my stomach erupt with butterflies, but I didn’t get that with Harry. “Let’s do a twitcam!” Ashton shouted and Luke, Calum and Michael all cheered in agreement, they then went into the other room and tweeted that they would do one in 10 minutes, “Wanna join?” Luke asked Niall knowing that he can’t resist, “Hell yeah! Skylar lets go” Niall replied and stoop up off the couch “It’s so hot” I complained “Oh come on it will be fun” Niall pleaded “Fine, but you carrying me” I gave in, Niall gave me a smirk and then picked me up off of the couch bridal styles with his hand on my thighs and the other under my back for support. He walked into the other room and we joined the others to see that they had started without us. “And here comes the cutest couple ever, NIALL AND SKYLAR” and the 4 boys cheered “Oh god” I laughed “people are going to hate me if you say that” I half joked but I knew it was true. “Just kidding guys they aren’t dating” Michael said “BUT THEY SHOULD” Ashton shouted into the camera and I couldn’t help but blush. The twitcam went on for just over an hour until we said good bye, it consisted of me giving Calum a makeover which was so funny and prank calling people, we prank called Olly Murs but he guessed Niall’s voice after about 5 minutes, we also prank called Ed Sheeran but Harry and Zayn ran in on us and screamed out our names as a joke and that blew our cover. After the twitcam we went back out into the lounge room and thankfully the temperature had cooled down quite a bit so I took that opportunity to go to sleep comfortably. “Hey what room is mine?” I asked everyone “Okay so the room plan is this, Me and Zayn, Louis and Eleanor, Luke and Ashton, Calum and Michael, Harry and Liam and then either You and Niall or Deo and Niall or you and Deo or whatever, one of you get a room to yourself” Lauren explain but before I could reply Deo yelled louder than necessary “Shotgun my own room!” and we all laughed “So I guess your with me princess” Niall said and my breathing hitched as he called me princess “Okay goodnight” I said to everyone and I walked off. As I walked off I heard Liam say “Did you just call her princess?”

Harry’s POV

“Did you just call her princess?” Liam asked Niall, my head was spinning, Niall just called Skylar princess. “Yeah, I guess I did” Niall said with a proud tone of voice. At this moment I just remember Niall telling me when we were in our first year of being a band “I’ll only ever call the girl I love princess, never too soon, never too late” his words echo in my head. “Did you mean it?” Zayn asked him “Yeah, I did. She is my princess, well I want her to be” Niall replied. Niall then explain how he had fallen deep into love with Skylar, what is going on. I knew he liked her but love? Wow. What did she think of him? She probably loves him too! Who knows what happened this week in Melbourne. “So are you guys like a couple?” I asked without thinking, I think I sadness in my tone of voice was clear, to everyone but Niall. Don’t get me wrong I am so happy that my best friend has found love, its just, its with Skylar. “No we aren’t but I am going to ask her to be my girlfriend, I just don’t know how, I want to make it special” and with that I saw Lauren and Eleanor give each other a look and then Eleanor said “Oooo we will help with that!” and Niall thanked them. I didn’t know what to feel so I said good night to everyone and went to bed. I need time to think.
