CHAPETR 43

Eleanor’s POV

“Shit, What happened?” Harry asked as he walked up to us. “Well, Lauren’s awake-“ I start but he interrupts me “That’s great news” He says “But-“ I say, “But what? Why does there always have to be a but” he says sadly “But there are a few problems, Lauren can explain to you, we are going in to see her now” I spoke and he nodded, we all walk into Laurens room.

Zayn leads us all and he slowly opens the curtain to reveal a crying Lauren that had a oxygen mask on and a drip in her hand. Zayn quickly rushes over to her and takes her needle free hand and tries to comfort her, she flinches but she doesn’t pull away from him, he feels her flinch and he lets go of her hand but he doesn’t move from by her side.

“Can someone please fill me in on whats happening?” Harry says “Lauren? Do you want to explain?” Liam says “Yes” She answers. “Okay well the reason I collapsed was because of stress but when the doctors were running tests they also did a few tests on the baby to make sure its healthy” She pauses “Annnddd?” Harry says.

“And they found that I have had a Ectopic Pregnancy” she stops again. “I’m sorry but I have no idea what that is” Harry says “Don’t worry, I didn’t either until now” Lauren and Harry share a dim laugh, “well, usually when you’re pregnant the fertilized egg travels from your ovaries through your fallopian tube to the uterus. The egg attaches in the uterus and starts to grow. But in an ectopic pregnancy, the fertilized egg attaches someplace other than the uterus, in my case, the fallopian tube.” Lauren explained it, better than what the doctor did.

Harry still looked very lost, “That means the baby is growing in a tiny tube, not her stomach” I say he sort of gets it now but he is still giving us a blank look, “There is no way to save an ectopic pregnancy. It cannot turn into a normal pregnancy. If the egg keeps growing in the fallopian tube, it can damage or burst the tube and cause heavy bleeding that could be deadly. She will need quick treatment to end it before it causes dangerous problems.” Zayn says Now Harry gets it.

“Oh, Shit” he says Hearing this tragic news again makes my tears start again and I have to leave the room before everyone elses tears start. I decide to take a walk over to Skylars room, ill see her for the last time before they put her under in about 10 minutes, as I am just about to walk in I hear a cough coming from her room and I thought the nurse must have been in there making sure everything was set, but to my surprise I walk in and find Sky, awake! Her eyes are opened and she is coughing. I run over and sit her up slowly to stop her from coughing

“Skylar!” My tears have now turned into tears of joy. I look around the room and find Nialls water bottle on the table I grab that and feed Skylar with it. I press the nurse button and the nurse comes running in “Shes awake!” I say

Once the nurse has control of her and starts taking record of her blood pressure I run out of the room down the corridor and into Laurens room. “Guys!” I shout probably a little too loud “What is it?” Louis asks

“Skylar is awake!” I say and everyone gasps “WHAT?” Niall says “I walked in and she was awake” I say we all look at each other and then at Lauren, Lauren can get out of bed to see Sky. Louis and Zayn give each other a mischievous look and before we know it Zayn and Louis are wheeling Laurens bed out the door down the corridor towards Skylar’s room. We are all giggling and laughing and we reach Skylars room and she is now sitting on the edge of the bed getting a needle in her arm.

“Skylar!” Niall says and he runs over and gives her a passionate kiss “Ohmygod I knew you would be okay I love you so much!” he says as he caresses her face they are both crying tears of happiness and we are all so happy at this point.

“Lauren, what the hell happened?” Skylar freaks out when she sees her, “Its not important right now! We will take about that later” Lauren says.

Deo’s POV

Wow, this is incredible, I have never seen such a close group of people in my life, anyone can tell that they truly love each other, each and every one of them, to be able to be here and see this friend ship bloom was such a blessing, and I know that nothing can tear them apart, not a car crash or a break up, nothing.

I think I am going to leave them all for a bit, I am going to go back to Ireland and see my old friends and family. I don’t say goodbye to them because I will see them soon I just leave them to themselves.

Harry’s POV

“This is so strange, less than 2 hours ago Skylar was in a very critical condition but now she is awake, I have never seen anything like this and I have been a doctor for 27 years” the doctor explains. “It’s a miracle” Liam says “It truly is, its like a angel has come and spoken her words of wisdom and its now okay” The nurse says.

Allana. It was Allana, whatever she said to her, she must of heard it. Allana is a life saver. I knew she was special and this is just another reason I need to make her mine.
