Chapter 38

Niall’s POV

“Hello?”

“Skylar, babe?” I said into the phone but I got nothing in return, the line has disconnected. Maybe her phone just went flat, I’m sure she will call me back soon. I put my phone back in my pocket and walked back into the others.

“Hey did you call Skylar?” Liam asked me “Yeah but I think her phone went flat so im not sure if she heard me but she will call me back I’m sure” I replied back and he nodded his head and went back to making sure he had packed everything.

Harry’s POV

I have just finished packing my things to go back to the UK tomorrow morning and I could stop thinking about Allana, is she coming back with us or is she going to Adelaide? I need to talk to her, I know its selfish me thinking about her in a time like this but I can’t help it. I’m going to talk to her. I walk out of my room and across the hall way and lightly knock on her bedroom door. “Come in” her sweet voice came from the other side of the door and I slowly opening it to see her sitting on the edge of her bed deep in thought.

“Hey, what’s up?” I asked her as I sat down next to her, “Oh nothing- “ She started  but I could see straight through her lie “Honestly Lala what’s up?” I asked her using the cute nickname she has. “Honestly?” she asked “Honestly” I confirmed “Well, its just I am really going to miss you while you’re in the UK, but you’re going for Lauren so don’t worry” She explained and my heart ached.

“Come with us” I replied “I can’t, I don’t have a passport, I have never been out of Australia” She said. I guess I didn’t really think this through, “We can get you one” I spoke again. “I can’t get one for tomorrow, it will take at least 2 weeks if I send my request in as urgent and I can’t do that because I can’t afford it” She sighed

“its okay, ill pay for it and ill stay here with you until it is ready” I said again without thinking “No, you don’t have to do that, I can just see you when you back” She said “No! Please Allana, I want you to come with us, I need you to come with us, I cant go a day without seeing you beautiful face, I need you” I said and it sounded move deep-felt then I had originally planned but I liked it until I saw the tears in her eyes and I hated it. “Harry” she said. Shit! I quickly ran through our previous conversation to see what I said wrong “You mean so much to me” she started and my heart skipped a beat “I like you, a lot” She said “So come with us” I interrupted her “Okay, But…” She said and I didn’t care what it was because she said she will come!

“I will get a passport and then ill come when it arrives and, you will still go tomorrow” She said “Okay thank you thank you thank you!” I said in excitement like a little kid on Christmas and I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her straight on the lips, again not thinking, I don’t know what’s going on. Whenever I am with her I lose my senses and my mind clouds up and I don’t know what I am doing.

Once I realize what I was doing I quickly pull back “Oh my god, I am so sorry” I apologize to her “Its okay, I liked it” She replied and to my surprise she pulled me back in for another kiss.

Lauren’s POV

I have a massive head ache from my constant crying, my head feels like it has its own pulse. Today I am going to get off the couch today, maybe try and eat something. I can’t go my whole life sitting on the couch crying about something I can’t change.

I stand up off the couch and all the blood rushes to my head and I feel dizzy, once I stable myself I make my way up the stairs into the bathroom I turn the shower on and get in, I have the water as hot as I can handle it. It burns my skin but the strain on my muscles is disappearing. The hot water rushing over my face was an instant relief.

After I washed my hair and body then just stood for a while with the water falling over me, I turned off the water and stepped out, wrapped the towel around me and walked out of the bathroom into my room and got dressed, I put on a pair of full length black leggings and a white t-shirt and then put on my NY hoodie as I am walking down the stairs I hear my phone ringing so I start running down the stairs and I grab my phone and without checking caller ID I answer it.

“Hello?” I ask

“Yes hello, Is this Lauren Davies?” A lady asked me “Yes it is, who is calling?” I ask back

“My name is Jill McKay and I’m the head nurse in the intensive care unit at the Kings hospital” She  spoke and my blood ran cold. “Yeah?” was all I could say

“I am calling to inform you that Skylar Smith has been in a severe car accident and I need you to come down to the hospital, Skylar is in a critical condition” The nurse explained “Okay im on my way!” I said as I grabbed my bag and keys and rushed out the door.
