CHAPTER 22

Harry’s POV

“And let me kiss you” I sung the last line of ‘Kiss You’ at rehearsals. “Okay you guys have a 30 minute break than I want you back here for one last rehearsal then you can go chill until the start of the concert tonight” Paul explain to us and we all walked off stage to meet the girls and 5SOS.

Niall and Skylar are dating, I am happy that he has found love and I’m happy she has too but I can’t help but feel sorry for myself, I wanted her. But that’s beside the point, She is happy with the boy she loves, which happens to be my best mate. I need to move on, but I can’t stop thinking about her. “Harry?” Niall bought me back to reality, “Sorry what?” I asked not knowing what he said “we are all going to get some ice cream, wanna come?” Niall repeated himself, “yeah sure” I said and we all started walking out of the arena.

“Hey buddy, what’s up? You seem like you’ve got something playing on your mind” Niall asked me as him and I walked behind the group. Oh yeah, I just keep battling myself because I like your girlfriend but now she Is yours and there is nothing I can do about it, congrats My subconscious spoke inside my head, “Nothing mate, just a bit nervous about tonight’s show, that’s all” I replied to him and walked a bit faster to catch up with the other so Niall couldn’t continue the conversation.

“I’ll have 1 scoop of chocolate chip please” Skylar ordered her ice cream last and we all sat at a table and waited for them to come, “Are you excited about the show? The first Australian show for take me home tour” Eleanor said excitedly “Yeah I’m so pumped” Niall replied. Our ice creams came and we all started eating, “Brain freeze!” Niall exclaimed “Babe, slow down your eating too fast” Skylar said as she wiped the ice cream off his face with a napkin and we all laughed “She’s like your babysitter” Louis laughed as he lifted the spoon full of ice cream to his mouth but if fell off and landed on his leg, Eleanor helped him clean it off “Now who needs babysitting” Skylar said as she defended Niall in a joking manner.

We all finished our ice creams and were now all sitting in the ice cream parlor talking, “Do you want to go for a walk around?” Skylar asked “Yes” Niall and I both replied at the same time, she was asking Niall, of course she was asking Niall, I’m so stupid.  “We can all go” Skylar said trying to ease my embarrassment; I love how she will help others like that. “Cool let’s go” Zayn said. We all got up and exited the ice cream shop. We walked around the small shopping mall until it was time to go back to the arena to rehears two more songs.

Eleanor’s POV

The boys are performing the last two songs for the set of the show. Currently Skylar, Lauren and I are all standing in the front row of the area where sound check will soon be. The 5SOS boys have gone to shower and start getting ready for the show and Deo went along with them. I looked over at Skylar and she was captivated by her newly boyfriend and his band mates. I am so happy for her and Niall; they are perfect for each other. “I said, can I take you home with me? She said never in your wildest dreams” Niall sung his solo and Skylar’s lips curved into a smile.

The boys finished singing ‘Best Song Ever’ and ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and we made our way back stage. “You guys are amazing, I have never actually heard you all sing live before, apart from the X Factor that is” Skylar said as the boys walked off stage, “We are amazing we know” Niall joked as he wrapped his arms around Skylar’s waist “Don’t flatter yourself babe” Skylar retaliated and he pouted, they are so cute! “Skylar is actually an amazing singer” Louis said on a more serious note, “Really? I didn’t know you sang” Niall said “No I’m not, I sing a little but not in front of people” Skylar replied “Sing for us, I had no idea you even sung” Niall said again, wow he is really confused, “Didn’t me studying music for college not ring any bells” Skylar replied causing us all to laugh and Niall pouted, “Sorry” He said “It’s fine” Skylar said and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
