Chapter 13

CHAPTER 13

Skylar’s POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm on my phone just as I set it to go off at 8:00am, I wanted to make sure I had everything ready and organized to go even though our flight out of London isn’t until 4:00pm I wanted to be ready. I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom, I went and had a quick shower, I got out of the shower and put on some black skinny jeans along with a black and black and white button up top. I applied some light makeup and kept my hair out naturally wavy which shaped my face quite nicely. I didn’t bother to put my shoes on just yet because I wasn’t going anywhere for a while.

I waked out of my room headed to the kitchen but before I reached the stairs I had a quick peek into Laurens room to find it empty and the bed didn’t look slept in, it was still nice and made from the previous morning. I guess Lauren stayed at the boys’ flat last night; I am so glad she gets along with them all so well.

It’s now 11:00am and I was 100% ready to go to Australia, I am so excited its going to be absolutely amazing and to know that I was going with my 2 best friends and my close friends that I am growing closer to each and every day made it even better. Louis and Eleanor said yesterday that Niall should be picking me up around lunch time today so I guess that was around 12:00- 12:30ish so I had an hour and a bit before he came so I sat down on the couch in the lounge room and then I pulled out my phone and checked my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, The TV was playing in the background but I wasn’t really paying attention to it, The Ellen show was on and the two little girls were on, you know the two little British ones that posted the YouTube video of them both singing Super Bass by Nicki Minaj and now they are super famous and they are only 5 or 6 years old, yeah they were being interviewed and Ellen just gave them a free trip to go to Disney land, lucky girls! That’s another thing I have always wanted to do, I have a bucket list with all the things I wish to do before I die, I probably wont get it finished but at least I can tick off ‘Go to Australia’ because that was happening. I scrolled through my twitter feed and saw so many tweets that said something along the lines of ‘Who is Skylar? She is hanging around with One Direction a lot! Is she a girlfriend or something?’ That was one I read and decided to reply to.

‘@SkylarSmith: @1dLoverx: No haha I’m not a girlfriend I’m Louis’ best friend from Doncaster xx’ is what I typed and then hit the Tweet button after the I proceeded to tweet a tweet of my own saying. ’@SkylarSmith: Today is the day! So excited!!’ and with that I existed out of the Twitter app on my phone and went into Messages to send Lauren a text.

Morning, How did you sleep? Where did you sleep? Hahaha xx Nialls picking me up soon we will come back to say goodbye before we leave x

After I hit send I locked my phone and waited for a reply as I went and got myself a glass of water, but before I started pouring the water from the jug into the glass I heard a knock on the door. Niall must be here, I walked over to the front door, unlocked it and opened it to see a familiar face, of Harry Styles “Hey Sky” he said to me as I opened the door, “Oh-uh hey” I said but it came out as a question, “I though Niall was picking me up?” I said to Harry, “Oh yeah he wasn’t quite ready so him and Liam are getting him ready so I told them I would pick you up, is that okay?” he said finishing with the question, “oh okay no worries at all, I just go grab my stuff and lock up, ill meet you in the car” I said back to Harry “How about I grab your bags and then you just lock up” he said to me in a cheeky tone “If you insist” I replied as I walked off into the lounge room to grab my phone, keys and wallet and chucked them into my Kardashian Kollection handbag. Harry picked up my massive suitcase without a struggle at all and started walking out to the car, I locked up the house and then walked over to the car to meet Harry who had already put my bags in the back and was now sitting in the driver’s seat ready to go, I hopped into the passenger seat and buckled up my seat belt and then my phone went off notifying me that I had received a text message. I got my phone out of my handbag and unlocked it to see Lauren had replied to my text message.

Hey kiddo, yeah I ended up crashing at the boys’ flat, sorry I was going to call you last night but I figured you would have been asleep, I’ll see you soon, oh and change in plans Harry is picking you up not Niall, The idiot hasn’t even finished packing yet, Harry is on his way xx

I replied to Lauren

To:Loz

Yeah I figured haha no worries, yeah Harry is here now, we are on our way back to the flat, see you then, Bye x

I shut off my phone.

Harry’s POV

“So are you excited?” I asked Skylar as she sat silently in the passenger seat of the car as we drove along, “Yeah, it’s going to be so fun!” She replied quickly “So are you flying straight into Melbourne?” I asked her another question “No, actually we are flying into Sydney and staying there for a night and then we are going to Melbourne tomorrow morning, or todays morning? I don’t know the whole time zone thing confuses the hell out of me!” she said back, which caused me to laugh, she started laughing too.

We were back at the flat now and Niall had finally finished packing his suitcase ready for the trip, Niall and Skylar wanted to get to the airport early so that they could go to the private waiting room so that fans and paparazzi don’t harass them, not that fans are annoying I guess they just wanted to be left alone for a bit. Everyone said their goodbyes to Skylar and Niall as they hopped into the Taxi and headed for the airport, we all waved goodbye as the taxi drove off.

I hope this week goes fast, I just want to get to Australia!
