The arguments wouldn't stop.

Their voices raised the roof.

Poor little Emma was sitting in the corner, watching her parents fight.

Adrien didn't want to pay all the bills in the house by himself. It was too much.

"Stop being shut a gold-digger, and get your ass off the couch for once and get a job."

"You don't appreciate for what I do! I clean the house, take care of Emma, make food, and I have to deal with you constantly on my back!" Yelled Marinette.

"You don't appreciate ME! I work my ass off for you and Emma, but all you ever do is lay around!"

Marinette kept the tears from falling.

Words did hurt.

"Fine . . . me and Emma will take our leave. Since I don't "appreciate" you. Just so you know, your a terrible man and you don't even notice your own daughter trembling in the corner. I'm tired of this and I want the best for Emma. I don't want her to grow up in this unhealthy environment. Expect us to be out by tomorrow." Said Marinette.

Adrien's eyes soften once she mentioned Emma.

Marinette wasted no time confronting her daughter, and walking away with Emma in her arms.

-----

Adrien sat there.

The birds was chirping for the new day to start.

Everything was bright.

He was too late to apologize.

They left before he woke up.

Everything was gone. And he didn't do anything about it.

"She's gonna come back to me . . . who am I kidding? I'm a idiot."

He slowly notice the dishes piling up, clothes everywhere, the stench of the garbage can after a few weeks passed.

He sat on the couch thinking of all of  his mistakes and regrets.

He really did messed up.

He didn't even thanked her once for her work.

He missed his beautiful daughter's laugh.

But he just sat there. The tears started roaming out of his eyes. He quickly wiped them away.

"I'm so pathetic."

-----

It took him every ounce of pride and courage to be at the doorstep of Alya's home.

He knew they were here. He was gonna make up for his mistakes and pay the consequences.

He was a good actor. He could put of a smile for show but Marinette can see through him. He couldn't hide the nervousness or the red eyes from crying in the mornings. He couldn't hide his love or feelings. She knew him well.

The door slowly opened.

He was soon staring into the ocean blue eyes that he missed. She was confused about why he was here.

She tried closing the door but he placed his foot in the way.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng . . . I'm the worst husband in the world/father. I don't deserve to be loved by those who I don't appreciate them the way they appreciate me," all her courage is draining away. Take it his all to not burst into tears.

"The moment you left was when I realized what was I missing. I tried to forget about you but I couldn't. I couldn't accept to see Emma calling another man dad, or you kissing another man. I'm a selfish man, and I was you all for myself. I didn't mean anything I said and I wish I could take it back."

Marinette stood there. Emma soon walked to see what was happening. She ran up to Adrien once she saw him in the doorway holding flowers.

"DAD!! I mwss you su munch."

"I missed you too my princess."

"Hello princess. What you doing in this fine evening?"

"Nothing. Anyway, shouldn't you be saving Paris from butterflies?" She smirked.

"I'm wounded. Now please give this cat some medicine." He said while pointing to the tray of croissants.

"Here you go silly kitty."

She stared into his eyes for any lie in his words.

"Roses are red. Violets are blue. You're really pretty and wanna kiss you." He spoke.

She pulled him in before be can speak. The sweet tender of his lips satisfied her that this was real. He was confused but glad. He needed this badly as she needed it.

"I'm going to do everything in my power to be the best father and husband," he vowed.

-----

He was glad to sleep with the two special people in the world later that night. Watching his sleepy wife cuddling with his little princess.

Happy late Fourth of July! I'm not a huge fan of Fourth of July because I don't like fireworks.

Hehehehe.

I only like sparklers and the reason why I don't like fireworks is because it puts my dog in pain. It hurts their ears and it stresses them out.

Hope your holiday was good and had to best time.

Sorry my writing is getting shorter. It's because of the lack of motivation since Miraculous Ladybug season 2 won't be out for a while. I'm not gonna stop writing. I feel like many of the Miraculous writers are feeling the same. I still love you guys and thank you for all those nice comments and the support you gave me. The votes really helps and I'm glad I have people there for me.

Thank you.
