Lessey & I were at home, boredddd.

"Where's mom & pops?" I asked

"Mom went somewhere, she's off today. Pops working,"

"We need something to do."

"I know right. What'd you & Jay get on y'all presentation & project?"

"Presentation; A, project; A+"

"Ooh, kill 'em"

I laughed & we heard the door open.

"Wanna go see where she was?"

I shrugged. "Sure"

Then we went to the door & I was so surprised by who I saw.

"Briiiiii!!" I yelled as I jumped into my best friends arms, embracing her.

She laughed & hugged me back then I got down. Someone else walked in & I got even more excited.

"Omg, Chris!! " I jumped into his arms & he hugged me, kissed my cheek then put me down.

I looked over at Bri & Lessey both with grins plastered on their faces.

"Lessey did you know about this??"

"Yeah, she helped plan it," Mom chimed in.

"I LOVE YOU, OH MY GOSH." I hugged her also & she laughed.

"I'll let all of you talk, I'll be in the back. Bri & Chris, the housekeeper is gonna take y'all's bags to the guest rooms."

"Okay,"

"Thank you mommy"

"You're welcome baby girl, I know you missed your friends from Chicago. Go ahead & catch up, hang out, do what y'all do" She said walking farther into the house until she wasn't in our view anymore.

We went into the Family Room.

"This is my first time in Cali, we HAVE to turn up tonight. This house is niceeee, bruh." Bri said.

"True & ha, that's how I felt when I first got here. Lessey you should invite the clique over.." I thought about what I said then mouthed to her "expect Jaden."

She nodded. "Arddd."

She pulled out her phone & texted everyone inviting them over, excluding Jaden.

"So what's been up, baby?" Chris asked, causing me to blush.

"Same old stuff, just a new city. I missed y'all two the most like I was literally gonna spazz out if I wouldn't have seen y'all soon."

He chuckled, "Crazy"

"Shut up, punk"

"Don't forget that I'm here too" Bri said, giggling at us.

I looked at her & laughed too.

"Everyone's coming, Des." Lessey said after putting her phone down.

"Everyone?"

She took the hint, knowing that I meant 'Jaden too?'

"Yeah," she spoke, knowing I wouldn't be pleased.

Ugh. Boys, boys, boys. I just want a drama-free weekend with my two best friends.

Bri looked at me, knowing something wasn't right.

"Who's coming?" Chris asked, oblivious to everything.

"Our cousin Jordan--she's a girl--& our friends Zharia, Willow, Rachel, Prince, Chad, Prod, Moises, Mateo & Jaden."
