I'm laying
In the grass
Watching the floating cloudsMy friend
Steps out
He yells my name real loudI smile
He waves
And joins me by my sideThe sun
Shines bright
It hurts our eyesHe grabs
My hand
And leads me toward the houseI point
Out a
Scurrying mouseWe go
To the
Back where there's a windowWe watch
The clouds race
And wonder where they goAll to
Soon night
Upon us has fallenWe hear
In the
Distance birds are callingWe lay
Down in
Two separate bedsHe smirks
I smile
We rest our headsHe looks
At me
And whispers "good night."I say
"Well, same."
And then, I hit the lights
