I'm laying
In the grass
Watching the floating clouds
My friend
Steps out
He yells my name real loud
I smile
He waves
And joins me by my side
The sun
Shines bright
It hurts our eyes
He grabs
My hand
And leads me toward the house
I point
Out a
Scurrying mouse
We go
To the
Back where there's a window
We watch
The clouds race
And wonder where they go
All to
Soon night
Upon us has fallen
We hear
In the
Distance birds are calling
We lay
Down in
Two separate beds
He smirks
I smile
We rest our heads
He looks
At me
And whispers "good night."
I say
"Well, same."
And then, I hit the lights
