My friends get concerned about me sometimes
I'll write something
Or act a certain way
And then they're all like
"Oh, are you ok?"
You know who you are
I know you're reading this
But anyway
They're all like
"Oh, are you ok?"
And I'm all like
"Yeah, whatever, I'm fine."
And sometimes it annoys me
I'm over here like
"Really? I'm fine. Don't worry about me, goodness, ugh."
But other times
It gets me to think
"Wow, they care about me."
So you of my friends
Who tend to ask me
If I'm ok
I might get annoyed by it
And I'll tell you I'm fine
But don't worry
I appreciate it
So what I'm saying is
Don't ever stop
Don't ever stop asking me if I'm ok
Don't ever stop reassuring me that you can talk to me when I need
Don't ever stop letting me know you care
Because if you do
I'll forget
And one day
One day I'll need you...
