For this she did not ask
To be haunted by the past
As her wings grow heavier on her back

Who knew being an angel would cause so much commotion
You think it would be easy
But apparently its not
This never ending cycle of hate simply refuses to stop
They're dragging the ground now
She doesn't have the energy
If only she could fly away
But she can't
Or at least, she refuses to
She must help
Even if it means sacrificing herself
The burden of an angel...
