"Okay. Okay. I forgive you. Now take me home."
"I don't believe you."
"Alright fine." I unbuckled my seatbelt, opened the car door, grabbed my bag, and slammed it shut. "Wait, what're you doing?" I heard him question right before I slammed the door.
"What does it look like?" I snapped back. " I'm going home."
"No. You're not walking home Samantha."
"Watch me."
I started down the block, and I heard his car start so I tried to powerwalk, but he caught up to me anyway. I had no chance in being faster than his car but at least I tried.
"Samantha please let me drive you home. I don't want you to get hurt... please."
He had a pleading puppy look in those big brown eyes of his. I wanted to keep walking. I wanted to say no and keep walking. But I no longer had control of my body. I wanted my hands to go in my pockets. Instead, my hands opened his car door. I wanted my feet to continue walking down the block, yet still I walked towards that red sports car, and sat in silence.

"Thank you. See you tomorrow," was all I said as I got my keys out of my bag and waited for him to pull out of my driveway. I looked over and saw my car nicely parked. I instantly knew I was in for interrogation.
5...4...3...2...
"Well that was a long drive home."
I knew it. He was sitting at the dining room table, his phone in his hand. He was positioned right in front of the dining room window, which was directed right where Marcus dropped me off.
"You know, you didn't have to wait for me, I was perfectly fine."
"I don't like him. So therefore, I did."
"Why don't you like him? There's nothing wrong with him. You don't even know him. He's perfectly fine... In more ways than one." Right then and there, a devilish grin grew on my face and he then became highly disgusted of what was just said.
"That was just plain uncalled for. I don't like him. He gives me a bad vibe."
"Ooh! Another one of Benjamin Bold's famous vibes."
"Shutup. I'm just saying that something's fishy about him. That's all!"
If only he knew, he wouldn't want me to hang out with Marcus anymore. Bennie is a very protective bestfriend. And he's always there for me. But this I couldn't tell him... Atleast not right now...
"So why'd you go home with him?"
I gotta think of something to say, even though he'll see right through me. Although I'm a pretty okay liar, when it comes to lying to Bennie... I should just forget about it. Thats all there is to it.. but I'll take my chances, and pray that he doesnt ask any more questions...
"Uhh.. He wanted to.. uhh ask me.. about.. what happened in chemistry today.." I hid my face in the refridgerator while lying to him. Showing my face would just be like a mass murderer walking right in a police department saying, "Hey guys! Stop looking, I'm the guy who killed those fourty-four children!" I knew he knew I was lying but I was at least gonna try to act like I was trying to hide something from him.
"Yeah. Okay."
He'll ask me later of course.

Dear Diary,
So it's been three weeks into the school and I just love it so much! My friends are wonderful, I have some cool teachers, and they're starting to treat me like a normal person instead of a "bestselling author's daughter". Marcus and I are getting along, pretty well. Obviously you can't see it but I'm blushing. I guess Riley was right... sort of.. Well I'm getting tired so I'm gonna knock.
