"He's gonna be fine. There's just swelling in the lower right leg because of the hit and a sprained forearm. Nothing too serious." The doctor came out of Bennie's room explaining to us all his problems.

"Why was he unconscious?" I asked her.

"The shock of the hit made him pass out. We'll keep him for a few days so he can rest his muscles. He's awake now. You can see him." she explained to me.

I ran to the room. and saw him laying there, eyes closed. I quickly walked to his bed side. I rested my head on his body. I felt his hand on my head and immediately I jumped up.

"You're okay! Baby I was so worried!" I kissed him over and over. "Next time watch for cars!" I slapped him. He laughed at how bipolar I was acting.

"It's not funny! I was really scared you dummy! Don't you scare me like that again!" I yelled.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too."

"I have to tell you something."

"Shoot."

"Right before I got hit, i, I saw who the driver was."

"Well who was it? Tell me." I anxiously questioned.

"It was..."

"Who?"

"Marcus."

"What?! What do you mean it was-" and that's when I remembered..

*flashback starts*

"YOU WILL REGRET THIS SAMANTHA SLONE!! I'LL MAKE SURE OF IT!" He kept ranting but we payed him no mind.

*flashback starts again*

"I saw someone come by and drop off a new sauce. The boss told me to give it to you."

*flashback ends again*

"I can't. I can't deal with him right now.. I just wanna focus on you right now, okay?"

He sighed. "Alright. Come here." He waved his hand in his direction. Signaling me to lay with him. And as usual, I fell asleep in his arms.

*Phone rings from an unknown number*

"Hello?"

"Selected call from Prisoner, DAVIS, ALYSHA at SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA COUNTY JAIL. Do you accept the charges?"

Why the hell is ALYSHA calling ME from jail? She knows that I hate her and yet she has the audacity to call ME from jail. Let me see what this animal of a girl wants from my life.

"What do you want from my life animal?"

"Harsh much? Well anyway I have to talk to you. Face-to face."

"Why the hell would I wanna-"

"Its about Jamie. And Marcus. Come this afternoon at 2:00. I gotta go now."

I started pacing back and forth in my room. Should I even go? Is she bluffing? Why would she even call me if she didn't have anything important to say? I'm mean it's not like we're in any way cool with each other. I wouldn't go there to have small talk. So I decided I was gonna hear her out. I told no one where I was really going, got in my car and went to jail.
