"I just love you guys together!!" Fran screeched. "I mean, didn't I tell you guys the first time we met? You guys are.. ughh perfect!" He squeezed my hand and I put my head on his shoulder.

"Jenny honey, what can I get you today? Burger or salad?" After I introduced her into that cheeseburger, she couldn't get enough of it! Every time she ate one, she would feel guilty and when we went to the gym, she would work extra hard. What a character that girl is..

"Mmmm" she said as she took a bite. "Fran, there's something different with my burger, what is it?"

"I saw someone come by and drop off a new sauce. The boss told me to give it to you."

She bit into the burger again and stopped.

"Jen, are you okay?" Bennie asked her when she started choking and holding her throat. She just kept choking and then I remembered.

"Fran, what's in the sauce?" I asked.

"Uhh, mayo, buttermilk, and-"

"Cajun Red Peppers?"

"Yeah, how'd you-"

"She's highly allergic to Cajun Red Peppers! Call the ambulance! Somebody hurry!!"

She fainted and I ran to catch her. Bennie looked at us.

"There's not enough time. Come on, I'll drive." he carried her out to his car and I sat in the backseat with her, just staring at her unconscious body. I started to cry. "Stay with me Jen. Babe, hurry please!"

He sped up. When we got there, we barged into the emergency room.

"Somebody HELP!" I yelled out in the emergency room and a man came running towards me.

"What happened to her?" His voice was calm.

"She had a really bad allergic reaction to Cajun Red Peppers. She passed out." Bennie responded.

The doctor called a couple of other doctors and nurses and they lifted her onto the gurney. He checked the inside of her mouth and eyes which were red and very swollen. Then they all rushed her to a room down the hall, and told us to sit in the waiting area. I called her parents and our other friends; when they arrived we all sat in silence. The only thing you could here from us was sniffles or cries. The doctor came out with news.

"She's stable, but in critical condition. She's not awake right now, but you can see her when she wakes up. Umm, can I speak to the patient's parents?" They spoke and filled out some forms. We sat there for three hours, just impatiently waiting. Cole, her new boyfriend, even punched the door.
