Claris, apparently.

Miss Cellaneous frowned at us again.

"Diana, do you want to share what you have been chatting about?" she asked.

Di widened her eyes innocently.

"No, Miss Cellaneous. We were just talking about, you know, miscellaneous stuff." The class sniggered at Di's burn.

Miss Cellaneous went pink.

"Focus, Diana." Then she went on with lessons.

"Nice, Di." Matthew commented and smacked her a five.

I glanced down at the table.

What was happening to me? He made me feel so...

Jealous.

He glanced at me so quickly that I nearly missed it.

But it might have been a figment of my imagination.

The lesson was quite boring, until Miss Cellaneous had to explain some Science thing I wasn't paying attention to.

"See, this ball-" she got cut off by the hilarious shrieking of our class.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

Janice widened her eyes.

"Ball? Get it?" she said before laughing.

Huh?

I searched my brain for some reference to a ball.

Oh.

I suppressed a smile and Matthew noticed.

"C'mon, laugh out loud?" he pleaded and waggled his eyebrows.

I shook my head.

"You can't make me." I said.

He cocked an eyebrow at me.

"Oh, really?" he leaned forward. He was so close that I felt his warmth on my skin.

"Yes," I breathed.

He stared intently into my eyes and smiled.

"I can."

I blushed at the intensity of his gaze and stared at the floor.

I felt him turn back around and I immediately felt oh so...
