I liked sitting next to Matthew during class and talking. I got to know him better too. He had a sister, Gladine Sabers, his favourite colour was turquoise and he favoured his mum over his dad.

Matthew liked his sister, and his brother-in-law was quite kind too.
Whenever Matthew and I talked, though, Claris would tap his shoulder to divert his attention to herself. Not fair! Sorry, I sound like a little kid.
I didn't like the way Matthew cut his conversations short for her, but what can I do? It's his choice.
Matt punched my shoulder. "Thinking about Matthis?" He asked. I smiled grimly. "Think about Zannthew. It don't hurt to dream. For all you know, he may like you too!" Matt said, smiling.
I pouted. "I think he's smitten with Claris. He cuts off all our chats when she simply taps him!" I said.
Delaney walked by. "Hey, Zann. Um, I'm sorry?" he said before running off.
"What happened?" I asked Matt. He face-palmed himself. "Del..." he muttered and sprang up, running after Delaney.
James looked on, amused.
"What did Delaney do?" I asked him.
James, being so James, shrugged. "Obviously not telling, Zann. Find out yourself," he said before jogging off for practice.
