The next day, Zann could hardly look me in the eye. Whenever I caught her glancing at me, she'd blush and turn away.

"It means she likes you!" Matt explained as nicely as he could. Suddenly a thick fog lifted and I could see more clearly. "You should approach her. Ask." Matt's eyes glinted with Matchmaker Sickness.

I glared at him. "I'll do it my way. You don't have to help." I said. Matt's face fell and he shrugged. "What I'm saying is you should go for the direct approach, not the curve," he commented and walked off to Zann. "I don't need that piece of advice!" I yelled after him.

I don't think I need it.

Hopefully.

Zann glanced back at me and shot me a smile. I strode up to them and shot Matt a look. He understood and backed off. Zann looked uncomfortable but grinned. "Sup, Matthew?" she tried. "Uh, hey..." I fumbled with my words, thinking of what to say.

"So, yesterday, you told me 'I like you'... was it true?" I asked. She blushed. "Uh, yes?" she replied and giggled. I smiled.

"So, um, I like you too." I confessed. This was seriously the most awkward confession ever. Her eyes brightened and she tugged at a wisp of hair.

AWKWARD!!!

We just walked in silence and I dropped her off at her class. Matt came, smirking. "Seems like Zann got a rise out of you. Your cheeks are blushily red." he remarked. "Blushily's not a word." I commented and went for class.

I ca totally start an album with the hashtag #AwkwardMomentsEver ...
