Chapter Forty Nine

Niall's P.O.V

Liam told to me dress in something comfortable. He said we were going to do some walking and that we were going to a lake, or something like that. After my shower I stood over our suit case. Liam packed everything for me, so I hope he packed me something good. I saw a pair of black nike shorts that end about mid thigh. Deciding those would be good I pulled the up and over the underwear I was wearing. Next I pulled on a simple rip curl tee shirt, then go to slip on a pair of white nike air max. After leaving the bathroom I move to the kitchen where Liam is walking in with a bag.

"Whatcha got in there?" I ask, wondering over to his side.

"Waffles and eggs." Liam says turning to me as he begins to pull plastic containers out of the the bag. I thank him softly before calling Karen.

"Hello?" She voices as I put her on speaker.

"Hey Karen, how's it going?" I ask, taking a bite out of my waffle.

"It's good. Your baby girl and your puppy are doing just fine." She said softly. I turned to Liam, who was sitting next to me, smiling.

"Good. Glad to hear it. Can Liam and I say hi it her?" I ask. Soon we hear the gurgles of Emma over the phone.

"Hi, Emma." Liam says and Emma's noises increase in volume as she hears his voice. Liam and I talk to Emma and Karen, while eating, for a little longer before hanging up.

"So, what's on the agenda today, Mr. Payne?" I ask turning around, looking to the window out into the wooded area around us.

"Go to the lake near by, go canoeing, go for a walk. You know?" Liam said from behind me. I nodded as Liam's arms found their was around my waist. He held me from behind and rested him chin on my shoulder.

"Okay. I think I can do that." I said to Liam. "When are we leaving?" I wondered.

"In a few, I've just got to get my shoes on. You ready?" He asked.

"Yeah." I say as he runs off to the bedroom. Weird. Liam only brought two pair of shoes and their both down here.

"Okay, let's go." Liam says as he comes back down to put his shoes on.

"You okay, Li?" I ask, following behind him.

"I'm fine." He chuckles. I decide not to worry as Liam begins to drive.

"This place is amazing Liam." I say in awe as in stood in front of an enormous lake, mountains to be viewed off in the background. The lake itself was outlined by a forest. Liam and I walked around for the longest time, holding hands and talking about nothing and everything.

"Let's go canoeing." Liam smiled pulling me towards the water there a man standing near the dock was helping people into canoes.

"No!" I yelled, shaking my head rapidly pulling against the arm he had around me half heartedly.

"C'mon. It'll be fun." Liam whisper in my ear. I hesitantly complied and let Liam drag me towards the water.

"Let me help you." A guy said taking hold of my hand. "Could you hold the boat, mate?" His heavy accent voiced towards Liam. Liam held the boat as the guy held onto my hand resting his other hand on the small of my back. I looked over to Liam to see him with a scowl on his face. I giggled lightly as I enjoyed jealous Liam. Once I was sat down the guy held the boat for Liam but didn't assist him in any other way.

"Arse hole." Liam grumbled once we were out of ear shot. I let out a small laugh as Liam did all the rowing.

"Is someone jealous?" I joke with him.
