Chapter Fifty Five

Niall's P.O.V

Liam, Em, Soph, and I all sat in a small restaurant waiting for the pizza we ordered to arrive. Over the past couple of days Soph and I had really bonded. She was a great little girl and she had taken a liking to me and Em. As Liam and I talked I felt Sophia tug on the shirt I was wearing. She motioned for me to come closer. I lent towards her and she cupped her little hands around me ear.

"I gotta go potty." She whispered. I looked to her then to Liam quickly before turning back to her.

"You don't want Lili to take you?" I asked looking down at her. She looked up to him for a moment but then shaking her head. "Okay. C'mon then." I smiled warmly, holding my hand out for her to take. I turned to Liam telling him we'd be right back. We walked to the family bathroom and I helped her onto the seat and turned around letting her go in peace. She finished up and flushed the toilet. I helped wash her hands and we were walking back to the table, hand in hand.

"Everything okay?" Liam asked as we return.

"Yeah, everything's good. Right Soph?" I ask turning to Emma poking my lips out letting her I wanted a kiss. She looks up at me and returns the gesture before going back to scribbling on the piece of paper in front of her.

"Yeah, everything's good." She smiled lightly. I found it funny how Liam sat in the booth by himself while I say with both girls on either side of me. I still haven't said anything about me being pregnant, I had taken a home test the other day and it came out positive. My first doctors appointment was set for next Friday. I was a bit nervous, knowing how busy Liam was with the wedding and trying to make it perfect and all.

"Okay." Liam smiled at Emma and I as our pizza came. I prayed I could keep this pizza down, I barely held down my breakfast. Liam ate sausage while Soph and I ate cheese. I gave Emma some of the sauce and a little bit of cheese. As soon as we were done Soph was going on about how she missed Cooper. Emma turned her attention to the sound of his name. Liam sat in the drivers seat while I sat beside him in the passenger seat.

"Look, Emmy." Sophia said from beside her. I looked behind me to see Soph giving Em a piece of paper. "I drew if for you at the resraunt." She said and I had to hold in a giggle as she fumbled over the word restaurant. "That you and Cooper." she giggled pointing at the piece of paper. "And that's me." I looked to Liam and he pulled my hand into his, resting it on his lap. Small smiles playing on our lips. Soon we were at home and Emma, Sophia, and Cooper were all in the backyard sat in the grass playing with Barbie dolls. Liam and I sat in the blue adirondack chairs that were on the patio.

"They get along so well." Liam said grabbing onto my hand. I gently rested my head on his shoulder as I watched the two.

"I know, Sophia has taken quite a likening to Em and Cooper." I smiled breathing in the London summer air.

"She's taken a liking to you too." Liam pointed out as I nodded. I was happy that we had warmed up to each other. It was quiet for a bit after that.

"Hey, Li?" I wondered, trying to form the words I wanted to say in my head.

"Yeah?" He hummed softly, kissing my forehead.

"I don't think Sam's a very fit mother." I said quietly.

"What do you mean?" He asked, turning his head to looked over at me as I kept myself looking strait ahead.

"Well when I was talking with Sophia the other day she was just saying a lot of negative things." I sighed knowing Liam would want a list of those things. "Like she said she just brushed her off. She goes out and leaves she home alone. She brings home a lot of different guys. Li, I don't think it's safe to send her back." I said in a bit of worry but smiling slightly as I saw a smile on Emma and Sophia's faces.
