Chapter Fourteen

Liam's P.O.V

I'm awoken by the strong wind blowing against the house. Looking at my surroundings, letting my eyes adjust to the darkness. Reaching for my phone to see the time, it says 4:27 am. I look down at Niall's sleeping figure, the moonlight shining through the window, softly sweeping across his body. Head rested on the pillow, mouth open slightly, steady breathing, hair sticking to his forehead, arm slung over my chest, legs tangled together, I stare at him in awe. The way he makes me feel is unreal. I'm not myself without him. I've never been one for relationships, constantly moving from one girl to another. The first person that really caught my attention was Sophia. She settled me down, for a little bit anyways. We got married, I didn't really think it through, sure I had feelings for her, I loved her. But, I wasn't in love with her. Eventually I cheated, as always going and fucking shit up, she wanted a divorce. I agreed, neither of us were really happy. That's were Niall came in, he walked into my office and I was a goner. Thinking back to the first time I met him.

I hear a knock on my office door.

"Come in."  I snap, in a bad mood, having just talked to Danielle a few minutes ago.

"Mr. Horan is here for his interview." Louis says as he opens the door, I look his way, my breath getting caught in my throat. Recovering quickly, I'm left staring at a young blond boy "Thank you, Louis." Louis gives me and the boy a small smile before leaving.

"Hello, Mr. Horan." I say, reaching out to shake his hand, he meets me in the middle, god his hands are soft. I feel a tingling sensation shoot through my hand, and up my arm, shit.

"Liam," I hear Niall's raspy voice, braking me out of my flashback.

"I'm right here baby." I reach a hand up to run it through his hair. He moves more into my body, resting his head in the crook of my neck.

"I love you." He sighs out, sleep laced through his voice.

"I love you too." I pull him into me. "Go to sleep baby." I keep my eyes on him until I'm sure he's asleep. His breathing evens out and he looks at peace, not a care in the world. I lower my hand to cup his cheek, stroking my thumb along his soft porcelain like skin.

Scanning over his face, I find myself, once again, lost in his beauty. Lips so soft, skin so smooth, freckles brushing over his nose slightly. Long eyelashes. Not only his beauty, everything about him, the way he walks, his accent. The way he looks at me, I couldn't ask for anything more of him, and don't even get me started on sex, we've only done it once, but it's special with him, and fuck, that's all I've got to say about that. I can officially say I've fallen in love with this boy. It scares me, I've loved plenty of people, but never been truly in love. It's a tariffing feeling. When I'm with him, it's like time slows and it's just the two of us. When he's in my arms, my heart beats faster. When I see him cry or when he's sad, it tears me apart. I don't ever want to lose him. I don't know what I'd do. I don't know what's happening to me, Niall just brings it out. It drives me crazy. Towards other people I'm cold and arrogant, I'm me. To Niall, I'm a fucking marshmallow. But I like it, it brings out his smile.

After some time, just pondering over the thought that is Niall, I feel myself drifting off to sleep. Limbs tangled together, Niall's arm hung over my chest, my arms wrapped tightly around him, I've never been more content with where I am in life than I am right now.

Niall's P.O.V

I wake up, sun light pouring through the window making me shield my eyes. Groaning I cuddle close to the body under me. Taking a deep breath in, I smile, Liam. Gently pressing my lips to his slightly hairy chest, I open my eyes and look up to find him sleeping soundly. My heart fills with so much admiration for the man I'm staring at. He looks so much younger, less stressed, a small smile playing on his lips, still in a slumber.
