Chatper Fifty

Niall's P.O.V

I stared at the gorgeous ring on my finger as Liam drove. We had just left the airport and were on our way to Liam's parents. "Did your parents know before we left?" I asked referring to the proposal.

"Yeah. They know and so did your parents." He chuckled as I let out an over dramatic gasp.

"My parents acted so surprised when I told them." I frowned in a pouty way. I looked out the window and noticed we were getting closer to Karen and Geoff's. I smiled at the thought of seeing my parents. I miss them and haven't seen them since a little bit after Emma was born. We pulled up to their house and Liam and I walked up to the door, his hands clasped tightly around mine. Karen opened the the door and pulled us both into a hug.

"Let me have a look!" She smiled pulling my hand out of Liam's. I see ma's blond head of hair.

"My baby." She smiled as she finally came into view. I pulled her in for a hug.

"I missed you." I sighed holding onto her tightly. I saw my dad behind her and pulled him in for a hug too. "Missed you too da." I smiled as he ruffled my hair.

"So let's see it." Da smiled, as we pulled apart. I showed them and Ma gasped while da's eyes widened considerable. I giggled as Liam snaked his arm around my waist. Ma, da, Karen, and Geoff sat in the living room with Liam and I talking about our short get away. Liam held Emma as she slept soundly in his arms, Cooper settled at our feet.

"Looks like someone's missed you." Karen smirked referring to Cooper. I smiled at the now grown puppy, scratching him behind the ears.

"Yeah, Liam and I missed him too." I chuckled softly not wanting to wake Emma. Soon dinner was ready, Cooper laid on the couch next to Emma as she slept. Liam and I sat next to each other, holding hands under the table. He played with the ring on my left hand as ma and Karen talked about wedding details. They went on about how amazing it was going to be and that they could see it now. We talked about locations and to my surprise, Liam wanted it in Ireland. Liam had told all of his close friends about the engagement and so had I.

Dinner was amazing, I always have loved every time Karen cooks for me. Emma held on tightly to Liam as he carried her to the car leaving my to trail behind with the bags and Cooper walking steadily beside me. Liam and I promised we'd be back tomorrow, according to my now fiancé, we were going to the zoo. The drive home was filled with loving touches between Liam and I. Cooper in the backseat with Emma, as she babbled on and on about whatever she was saying. It made sense to her, and that all that mattered.

Upon arriving home it was rather late and passed Emma's bedtime. Liam read Emma a book and I sang after we laid her down. Soon she was fast asleep.

"I'm gonna go downstairs and get something to drink, you want anything?" Liam whispers from the doorway. I think for a moment before turning to him.

"A glass of orange juice, please." I smile. He nods and slowly makes his way down stairs. I watch the hall until I can't hear his foot steps anymore before turning back to Emma. I watch her sleeping figure for a moment. "I love you." I whisper as I brush her wavy brown hair out of her eyes. She's an even mixture of Liam and I. Liam hair, cheeks, his eye lashes, tan skin, and she's most likely going to have his body type. Tall and thin. She has my eyes, nose, and her small about of freckled dusted lightly across he nose and cheeks. She's changed so much since she was born. She's going to be a beautiful girl. I'll let it be Liam's job to keep the all boys away. "I love you, Em." I whisper bending down to kiss her forehead and walking down stairs to meet Liam.

I see him sat on the couch watching a bit of European golf, an orange juice on the end table. I go to sit next to him, cuddling into his side. "Hi." I whisper, looking up at him through my eye lashes.

"Hello." He chuckles looking down at me with a bit of curiosity. I don't say anything but continue to stare at him. "Can I help you?" Liam asks, his thick accent coming out.

"No, just having a look." I say, shrugging. He looks away shaking his head, but smiling none the less. Liam and I sit in silence for a bit just watching golf. "So we're going to the zoo tomorrow?" I ask, finally.

"Yeah, you okay with that?" He asks turning to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. When are you going back to work?" I chuckle. "It feels like it's been ages since you've gone in."

"I'm going back next week. And have you forgotten love, I own the business. I can show up or not show up whenever I please." He smirks. I roll my eyes in a joking manner. "Oh, now we're rolling eyes." Liam says a smile on his face.

"I only eye roll because you're so into yourself." I laugh, pushing his shoulder.

"I'll show you at eye roll." He challenges, I move to get up but Liam's too quick. He catches me by the arm and pulls me back to the couch. His face goes for my neck, arms pinning me down and I let out a small shriek of laughter.

"Liam! Stop!" I yell, but he doesn't budge. I try pushing up against his shoulders but his nips at my neck keep coming. The scruff of his beard doesn't help either. "Li, I'm gonna pee." I laugh so hard tears begin to surface. He hands go to my sides and I'm a goner. My body thrashes from side to side and I laugh loudly. It isn't until Liam let's me go that I realize I had started crying. "Oh my god , I hate you." I smile before running to the bathroom to relieve myself. When I get back, I see Liam sat of the couch with a giant smirk. "You're an arse, you know that?" I joke, kicking his legs off the coffee table as I walk by.

"But you love me." He said, pulling my down onto his lap. I straddled his hips, draping his arms over his shoulders.

My right hand goes to his hair to play with it, "yeah, I do." I whisper trailing off at the end. Liam pulls me close and brings his lips to mine. "You're mine." I mumble against his firm lips holding his face in my hands.

"I'm yours." He says back making me smile. I feel his hands slide over mine as I look into his eyes. His warmth engulfs me and I soon find myself falling back into him, lips colliding roughly.

Chapter fifty!! Wow, fifty chapters? This is my first fanfic and I honestly can't thank any of you enough. This story has over 20k reads! I didn't expect it to even get 10k..
