It's been a week magmula noong nagcelebrate kami ng anniversary namin ni Kurt. Nauumay na nga ang circle of friends namin every time na makikita kami. He's nothing but sweet and I'm liking it. Very.
Katatapos lang ng class ko and I saw him waiting for me outside. Ganito parati ang set up namin. I watch him in the morning sa practices niya. Sa afternoon naman susunduin niya ako sa classroom ko para maihatid niya ako pauwi, then babalik nalang siya dito.
Nilulubos namin dahil hindi pa naman siya sobrang busy sa sport niya. Kapag naman hindi talaga siya pwede, he'll text me ahead of time so I could inform our driver na sunduin ako, or so that I can plan with my friends.
Minsan ako ang busy for my academics or may lakad kami nila Blaire kaya I text him para hindi narin siya ma-hassle. Syempre kahit in a relationship ako, I still know my other priorities.
Kurt's driving. Papunta kami sa mall ngayon. Nasakto kasi na may emergency ang coach nila and nakapag-practice naman na sila kaninang umaga.
Yesterday was Sunday and we were together that whole day. It is our free day. I made him his favorite beef stroganoff pasta and crème brûlée. Nagpatulong ako kay Mads kasi hindi ko naman kaya iyon mag-isa.
It wasn't that grand like what he did, I know that. Pero diba gifts and suprises isn't about who gave more expensive or who did better. It's about all the thoughts while doing it.
Nagmovie marathon din kami. Chick flicks, action, fantasy, and romantic movie sa room niya. Alangan naman sa living room kami eh hindi lang naman kami ang tao sa bahay.

Pagkarating sa mall ay kumain kami sa jollibee. I was enjoying my palabok and chicken joy when the 'clown girl'/campus chearleader sat with us. Sinamaam ko siya ng tingin, who does she think she is para maki-upo sa amin?
"Excuse me. You are not welcome here." I said my voice filled with annoyance. But the bitch, she didn't even glance at me. She was openly flirting with Kurt. My Kurt! Kung makadikit akala mo wala ng space eh dadalawa lang naman sila sa side na iyon.
Umiiwas naman si Kurt but it's not enough effort. Dapat itulak na niya para mahulog. Baka mahawaan pa siya ng landi virus nito.
Dahil naiinis na ako dapat siya din. "Hey miss." Tawag ko sa kanya. Thank God lumingon siya. "Alam mo you look familiar. I think I've seen you on tv." Her face lighten up, her smile also got bigger, iyong pang toothpaste commercial smile.
"Really? Tell me, maganda ba?" Excited na tanong niya. Pati si Kurt napataas din ng kilay.
Tumango pa ako bago sumagot. "Mm-mm. Sa... Wait. What channel is that again?" Kunyari nag-iisip pa ako ng malalim. "Ah I know na. Sa animal planet. Yes! Right." Ang laki pa ng ngiti ko pagkasabi ko noon.
Napatawa ng malakas si Kurt. Napatingin tuloy iyong ibang mga kumakain sa table namin.
Instead of leaving, Amanda a.k.a. 'Clown Girl' just rolled her eyes at me. Aba. Matibay 'to ah.
At dahil sinira na niya ang araw ko, dapat mas sira iyong kanya. Kunyari sinusubuan ko si Kurt ng palabok tapos ipapahabol ko pa sa kanya, iyong parang ginagawa sa mga bata. Kaya nakalimutan na niya na katabi niya pala si Amanda at nilalandi siya.
Tumatawa kami ni Kurt when Amanda held his face and made him look at her. Pinunasan niya iyong nagkalat na sauce sa gilid ng lips niya.
"Hey you can't hold my boyfriend." Hila ko sa kamay niya.
"Yea sure. Make me." Naghahamon niyang sabi.
But instead of showing her how irritated I am, I just played it cool. "You wanted to be Kurt's sun, right?" Itinuro ko pa ang labas para mas maintindihan niya.
She raised her left brow, "Why? Giving up so soon?" Kurt frowned at me. No babe, I will not give you up that easily. Kahit palayuin mo pa ako.
I shook my head and took my fork to use it for pointing at her. "You stay away from him. Literally, 'coz that's what sun is supposed to be. Million miles away." Sabay subo ng palabok. Sayang eh, ang sarap pa naman.
Halatang nanggigigil na siya. Her hands are balled into fists and she's gritting her teeth.
"I wouldn't. Si Kurt nga hinahayaan ako dito, ikaw pa kaya? Who are you ba?" Nagpalpitate ata ang kilay ko sa narinig ko. Anong 'who are you'? Kanina ko pa sinasabi na lumayo siya sa boyfriend ko. Bingi ba 'to o bobo lang?
At ito pang isang ito, imbes na paalisin si Amanda at sabihing istorbo siya, hinahayaan lang niya sa tabi niya. Naha-highblood ako.
I drank on my juice before answering. "Oh my bad. Well, I am THE girlfriend, while you're just the GIRL friend."
She scoffed. "What's the difference?"
"The difference between THE girlfriend" tinuro ko ang sarili ko "and the GIRL friend" I pointed at her "is the space in between" then I pointed at the both of them "called the friend zone." Naniningkit ang mga mata na sabi ko.
"What the --"
"Now you stay away bago pa kita kalbuhin. Napipikon na din ako sa makapal mong make up. Jollibee itong pununtahan mo, hindi prom." I hissed at her. Itinapon ko pa iyong natitira kong juice sa muka niya.
That's when Kurt stood up to make me stop. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at hinila na palabas at papunta sa parking.
We were silent the whole ride until he spoke. "You went overboard."
"She deserves it. Actually dapat ikaw din binuhusan ko eh."
He glanced at shocked, "What did I do?!"
"Wala. Wala kang ginawa, kahit paalisin siya hindi ko ginawa!" My voice is rising kaya I have to stop and close my eyes and count to ten to relax.
"I'm sorry, ok? I got fascinated of you getting jealous, atsaka obviously you can handle everything naman."
I glared at him at hinampas siya ng bag sa braso.
"Hey stop that! I'm driving here. Wala tayo sa movie. Pag na-aksidente tayo walang sisigaw ng cut." The jokingly said that made me more mad. This is a serious matter!
"Doon sa malanding babae na iyon mo sabihin na wala tayo sa movie. She's leaving in a fantasy. Feeling niya we'll all bow down when she passes by."
"You are mad at her, bakit ako ang sinasaktan mo?!"
"Dahil nang-gigigil ako! You like what she's doing to you kanina."
"Ofcourse not! What the hell are you talking about."
"You know what I mean."
"You've seen it. Iniiwasan ko siya."
"Oh c'mon. I know you can do better than that pero wala kang ginawa."
"I didn't flirt back!"
"But you should've told her to back off."
That made him stop. It's either I made a point or ayaw lang niya pahabain ang argument. Baka nga both eh.
But I don't care. I swear to make her life a living hell.
