Nia's POV

Opening my eyes, I look around and see nothing but darkness. I feel something brush against my leg, and I immediately realize where I am. I gulp and look down at the floor. It's still stained red from my blood.

Hyperventilating, I fight and pull against my chains, screaming for help.

"Nia, calm down! Please!" I hear Saber shout to me over my screeching. No. He can't be here as well, he can't be. He shouldn't have to endure what I did for 4 days straight, and this session won't be cut short by a rescue.

"Saber? No... why are you here? You're going to get hurt!" I wail, starting to cry.

"Nia, what are you talking about?" He replies softly, trying to soothe me.

"This... this is where it happened, Saber! Can't you smell my blood?" I choke out between sobs as I try to take control over my emotions again. He doesn't respond, and I know that he realizes. "Saber?" I whisper.

"Yes?" Anger is obvious in his voice.

"Are you okay?"

"No! The love of my life was tortured, and now we are both in the room where it happened, and are most definitely going to get tortured!"

"I know. We are trapped. We are most definitely not getting out of here soon." I shakily sigh, defeated "So I just want to say one thing. I love you, Saber. I always will. No matter what happens, I want you to remember that."

"I love you too Nia." Saber lovingly says, and all of the darkness is swept from the room to reveal my aunt Cora standing in front of us, sarcastically clapping and smirking evilly.

"How sweet. The two lovebirds saying their final goodbyes before Nia becomes the perfect heir to my Dark Earth throne that she is supposed to be. She will be the best queen." Cora walks over to Saber, and tears silently fall fall from my eyes, streaming down my cheeks in rivers. "You should be proud of her." she whispers.

"She'd never be like you willingly. I'm proud of the real her, not the clone that you're trying to turn her into." Saber growls, pulling his lips up in an angry snarl. Cora lets out an inhuman growl, and slaps Saber with such power that he cries out in pain as his head whips to the side.

"Saber!" I scream.

Angel's POV

I wake up and I'm still in the forest, with Inferno above me, looking down at me concerned.

"Are you okay?" he asks me. I groan and sit up, holding my head.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just felt a lot of panic and pain flowing into me from Nia and Ivy, some of it must have been from Saber as well, but obviously through Nia, just through the connection." I nervously babble "Can we just get back to the house please? I feel like something bad is going to happen, I can feel it in the air." Inferno sighs and runs his fingers through his hair, looking like he doesn't believe me.

"Okay, fine then. Let's go." He holds out his hand for me to grasp so he can pull me up. I grasp his hand and stand up, stumbling slightly. Unsteady on my feet, I release my wings for balance. I sigh with their release, the feeling of them giving me a sense of comfort. Of home.

I change into my bird form, and start to fly off in the direction of the house. I hear a screech to signify that Inferno is following me as his phoenix form. We zoom back, and land in the back yard, where I see the back door flung open, hanging off of its hinges.
