Ivy's POV
I watch the rocks fall with a sense of happiness, but on the outside I am showing shock and horror. The typical emotions a human would experience in a situation like this. But, I am more than human, and don't have idiotic and useless emotions holding me back. Just a need for power and control.
That is why I am obsessed with Amaro. His entire being shouts power and control, the two things I desire over anything else. Everyone fears him, and rightfully so. Fear makes people do irrational things, like follow the orders of a controlling sociopath. That level of control over others is what I need. What I deserve. What I will get.
I need to be forceful and ruthless, showing no mercy. They will all fear me, and bow down to me, wanting to prolong their lives by following my orders. Having people that would do anything you command is a powerful thing to have, and it's going to be a fun thing to achieve once I fully take over Gato Reino and transform it in my image. It will be beautiful, and it will be mine.
Best of all, it will be powerful.
The day after the incident in the village and the dead Dark Warrior, Sabrina storms into my office. She strides confidently in and stands opposite me, only my desk separating us. I stand, not allowing myself to seem lower than anyone. Especially not my sister.
"Did you cause the fall of rocks yesterday that killed Spencer?" She sharply asks, glaring at me with coldness in her eyes.
"Why would you ask me?" I question, prolonging the time of when I answer her question to get her riled up. It is too easy, and very fun. At least for me.
"I am asking you because there are a limited number of people who could do that in the castle, and you are one of them. This is only part of my questioning " she growls at me "So answer my question!"
"Sabrina, what's wrong? I could feel your distress." Saber comes into the room and says.
"How can you feel my distress?" She asks him, turning her attention from me. I use this as the perfect opportunity to get Sabrina out of my office, and I turn into a black kitten and hide under my desk while I listen to them talk.
"I can feel your distress because the connection might not be fully opened, but strong emotions that you are feeling trickle through. Is this about what happened yesterday?" Saber answers with a soft voice, looking at Sabrina somberly.
"Yes, it's for finding the murderer for what happened yesterday. I need to find out who did it. For my friend." Sabrina replies, tears stinging her eyes. Ugh. I hate emotions. Such pesky and useless things. They make a person weak. Sabrina is not worthy of being with Amaro, she is weak because of her emotions. He should be with me, I am strong. I am willing to do anything to get what I want, and I don't let idiotic emotions control me.
"I'm sorry about your friend." Saber states to Sabrina, bringing her into a hug. She tightly embraces him back, burying her head in his neck. She doesn't reply, they just stand there hugging for a while. Ew. I also despise hugs. Such emotional things and an excessive amount of body contact. Humans are strange creatures. "I'll help you." Saber whispers
"You'll help me with what?" Sabrina asks, still hugging Saber.
"I'll help you find out who did this." He declares, a small smile on his face. It's obvious he is smiling because he is hugging Sabrina. I can't stand this. I get out from under my desk and shift back into my human form.
"Oh no you will not!" I snap at Saber, walking around my desk to stand in front of them. As soon as I spoke, Sabrina released from Saber, much to my pleasure. "You will stay away from Sabrina. You are poisoning her mind, and keeping her from the person she needs to be. So leave."
"No. I am not talking to you, I'm talking to Sabbie. I am not going to follow your orders, Ivy. So suck it up." Saber growls at me. I growl back, and both of our bodies tense up, ready to leap at each other.
"Stop!" Sabrina booms in a strong, commanding voice. A shiver runs through Saber and his body relaxes. He turns his focus from me to Sabrina, and I can see the love and pain hidden in the depths of his eyes. "Saber, I think it's best if you go. I'd appreciate your help, but I also don't want to start a fight." Sabrina states calmly.
"Okay. I understand." Saber replies, walking forward and briefly hugging Sabrina. "It'll all be okay. You'll find out who killed your friend and bring justice." He finishes, and exits the room.
"So, Ivy, what do you know about what happened that day?" Sabrina asks me, and I inwardly groan, getting ready to answer all of her questions.
About 10 minutes later, Sabrina is finally done scrutinizing me, and leaves my office. Suddenly, Amaro appears, obviously he had teleported in once Sabrina left. I sigh and sink into my comfortable desk chair.
"What do you want Amaro, are you going to question me on behalf of your sweetheart?" I ask him, sneering. He glares at me and answers
"No. I don't need to question you, since I saw that you did it. So, why? Why did you kill him?"
"For you!" I shout, standing up. "I saw that you were jealous of him, and scared that he and Sabrina were more than friends. I saw your rage, and when you didn't do anything about it, I decided to do it for you. I thought you'd be happy and appreciative of me getting rid of him for you, so you don't need to worry about him trying to steal Sabrina. I only wish I could do the same thing to that pest Saber." Amaro's eyes widen, and he questions me
"Ivy, do you... love me?"
"No! I love your power, the control you have over others because of their fear. I love the strength that you always emit. I love your ruthless and no mercy attitude. You deserve to be with someone who echoes that and therefore makes you stronger, more powerful. You shouldn't be shackled to somebody with those dumb human emotions." I step around my desk to stand in front of him. "You should be with me."

Author's Note:
Hi kittens... lovely ending, right? Hehe! I like having big/dramatic endings to the week, it makes it so fun. This isn't super big, but ending the week like this is fun for me. It adds some mystery to it. Summer feels like it's gone by so quickly but also slowly at the same time, it's the weirdest thing. This truly has been a Wattpad summer for me though, I've been on Wattpad practically the whole time. This or YouTube.
Question:
What do you think Amaro's reaction to Ivy's declaration will be?
~Cat Queen
