Saber's POV

"Are you ready?" Angel nods. I nod back

"I'm ready." I fall into a peaceful sleep, and find myself in the dream realm. Angel appears next to me and leads me to where Nia is in the dream realm. We seem to be walking for ages, but it probably just feels like that because I'm eager to see her, even if I can't tell her that I'm actually alive. We find her lying down in the fog of the dream realm, staring up at the empty grey sky.

"Nia." I call out, and her head whips around to glare at me angrily.

"I don't know who you are, but don't call me that! I am not Nia anymore, Nia is gone! I lost Nia when my sister killed my ex! My memory of me being Nia is gone, so don't call me that! I am Sabrina." My heart thumps in my chest at the sight of her, the sound of her voice.

"Well, I'm sorry that Nia is gone, because I came to see her. To say goodbye." My somber words seem to spark something in her mind, because her eyes light up in recognition of me.

"Saber?" She chokes out. "Oh god, Saber! I... I saw Ivy kill you! I couldn't do anything to help. Your death just broke me. That was the final straw. The Darkness took over, and I attacked everyone in the same vicinity as me. Oh god..." She starts to sob, the guilt overwhelming her. I run over and comfort her, bringing her to my chest.

"It's okay. Shh, it's okay. It'll be okay, don't worry." I soothe her. "Why choose Sabrina as a name?" I ask, switching the topic

"I don't know. It just seemed right. I couldn't remember anything, still can't, and the name Nia just made me feel pain. Sabrina is a lot like your name... I guess it was a coping mechanism for my mind. Since I couldn't really mourn you properly."

"Don't worry about mourning me, I'm okay. I'm glad that you chose the name Sabrina, in a way, I'm living on through you and our love, and that name just makes it even more official."

"Are you going to visit me more in my dreams?"

"If you want me to."

"I do. If it's not too much trouble."

"It's not. But, you do need a nickname again. I gave you your first nickname with your old name, so I think it's appropriate that I give you your first nickname with your new name." I briefly think, and decide "I'm going to call you Sabbie."

"Sabbie?" She laughs "Okay then." She whispers to me, starting to cry again "I miss you."

"I miss you too." I whisper back, tears coming to my eyes. I feel myself drifting out of the dream realm, so I quickly add "I'll be back Sabbie, you'll see me again, I swear."

I open my eyes to see that I am back in Nia's old room. Angel is stirring out of her trance at my side, and my heart breaks all over again at the thought of Nia not having her memory, and being a totally different person. I could feel it. She is much closer with Darkness and the Earth, especially Darkness, than she was before.

"She's changed, huh?" Angel says, tears running down her cheeks.

"Yeah. It's sad to see her so different." I agree, looking down at my hands as a lone tear drops out of my eye.

"Come on, we should tell Inferno about this and get something to eat." Angel suggests, pulling me out of Nia's room and downstairs. I sigh and follow along.

Sabrina's POV

I wake up and remember every vivid detail of my dream, and I break out into tears. Seeing Saber again, even just briefly, stuck in my heart, and it really hurts. No matter what he says, a part of me will always mourn him. Nothing will change that. Sobs wrack my body as someone bursts angrily into my room.

"Who caused this?" Amaro asks, in a creepily calm voice.

"Saber." I am able to choke out between sobs "He was in my dream. It hurt to see him again." Amaro's face immediately softens and his angry body language relaxes as he embraces me, like Saber did in my dream. But, this feels different. It doesn't comfort me as much as it did with Saber.

"It's okay Sabrina, he's dead. I understand that his memory will always hurt, but one day it will hurt less. I promise." I can only nod, unable to reply. The sound of my name reminds me of the nickname he gave me. My heart decides then that only Saber can call me that. My brain agrees, and I finally pull out of Amaro's embrace.

"I need to get ready." I point to my bedroom door "Go."

"Why? I want to be here for you." Amaro stubbornly says, and lies down on my bed.

"I need to get food, and I am not getting ready with you in my room."

"You have an adjoining bathroom, right? Just get ready in there." I groan and grab clothes from my closet, then go into the bathroom and lock the door behind me. I quickly brush my hair and get dressed, then step back into my room to see Amaro still sprawled out on my bed.

I walk out of my room and start going to the kitchen, and soon after, Amaro appears next to me and walks with me. He grasps my hand in his, smiling down at me. The dream I had still haunts my mind and my heart, so I can't actually smile. I try, but I'm sure it looks more like a grimace.

"I'll make sure your smile is actually real next time." Amaro bends down and whispers in my ear while we walk. Once we get to the kitchen, we are greeted with an annoyed Cora glaring at us.

"An-Sabrina, why did you attack Ivy yesterday?" She sternly questions. I wickedly grin and answer truthfully

"She made me angry."

"And how did she do that?" Cora raises her eyebrow. I sigh and say

"She tried to make me not make friends, or be friends with Amaro."

"Is this true, Amaro?" She turns to look at him. He nods and agrees with me

"It did happen, Ivy acts like everyone is below her. She's too arrogant. It's going to be her downfall."

"Fine. Sabrina, get to work on the village after you eat, and avoid Ivy." Cora commands

"I will, I love working on the village and trust me, I was planning on it." Cora leaves the room and I start making breakfast right away as my stomach growls. Amaro and I just talk about random things, never going into really serious conversations as we eat. Then, like yesterday, he goes down to the village site with me, and we work on it together, laughing, talking and smiling the whole time.

Author's Note:
Sup kittens! Aww, I think Saber and Nia together is just so cute! He gave her another nickname! It's sad though that she still has to think that he's dead. Maybe the next week that I am writing this, I will have Saber come back. I knew the perfect way to do it as well! This is going to be so fun!

Question:
When I put Saber back in the picture and he starts to fight for Nia to return, would you want Amaro and Saber to fight?

I think it'd be fun and interesting to do.
