Cora's POV

"I'm going to announce what kingdom Ivy and Sabrina each get today. I just want your opinion on the decision before I make it official later today." I tell Amaro, and he nods in understanding.

"Alright then. I definitely think Sabrina should be your heir, she should be the one to be the Dark Earth Queen. She's strong, independent, will stick up for herself and others, doesn't see everyone as worthless scum, and is more connected to the Darkness and the Earth and can use them better than Ivy can. Have you seen what happens when she gets mad? It's beautiful..." He rants, dropping off in... admiration? Love?

No, it can't be love. No way would Amaro fall in love with anyone again, not going to happen.

"Yes, that is what I thought. Sabrina is the obvious superior choice to who is going to be my heir out of the two of them. I only wonder about how Ivy will take it, she is prone to jealousy and bitterness if something isn't going her way, or if something isn't the way it should be in her eyes. You and Sabrina are apart of the small group of people that have experienced this first hand." I reply, thinking about what we could do. Amaro immediately responds

"Well, she'll have to get over it. Her sister is a better Queen to take over after you, and she just has to deal with that." Anger is evident in his stuff body language, and clenched fists.

"Yes, but just be wary. You spend a lot of time with Sabrina, I fear that her sister may do something to her sister so she gets the throne instead." I warn, but partially just to see his response. His body stiffens, and anger shines in his eyes.

"I won't let anything happen to her." He practically growls.

"Good." I say, dismissing him with my tone. He slightly bows his head, then disappears. I look at the time and see that it's the time of day when Sabrina will be waking up. I look out of my window and see the sun starting to set.

Sabrina's POV

With tears still running from my eyes, I wake up to the sound of my beeping alarm. His voice is still echoing in my ears, the way his smooth, deep voice lifts slightly in a teasing tone as he calls me Sabbie. I can now remember my earliest memory, but that's it. Of course it has Saber in it, we were practically joined at the hip all throughout the time we were growing up.

I hear a knock on my door, and I know it's Amaro. He always knocks on my door right after I wake up. I rapidly wipe away my tears, grab clothes from my closet and run into my bathroom to get ready. I call out

"Come in!"

"Hey little spitfire, I hope you have a dress in there with you!" Amaro shouts at me through my bathroom door. I mentally groan and holler back

"What?! Why?"

"Today Cora is announcing which throne you and Ivy are getting."

"Okay, pick me out a dress. I'll get it in a sec."

"Are you sure you want me to pick it?"

"Yes, but remember, whatever you pick me to wear, I won't just be wearing it in front of you. I'll be wearing it in front of a lot of young, male Dark Warriors who will most definitely appreciate what they see."

"Good point. I'll pick a suitable dress." A couple minutes later, he knocks on the bathroom door. I open it and see him holding a beautiful dress. It's long sleeved and has a v-neck dropping down a couple centimeters below my neck. The bodice is tight, but losses at the waist. The bodice and the skirt is separated by a thick strip of black ribbon. The skirt drops down to my ankles. The dress is a dark red/brown color that looks like dried blood. It makes me smile wickedly.
