Inferno's POV

I hold Angel against me, a horrible sinking feeling of worry and dread filling me. Something has her horribly shocked, and she's not responding. I look at her frozen face, trying to see if she's moving at all.

"Angel please, talk to me." I try again to get her to talk, with no response. Seeing her like this is killing me, I care about her so much. I don't know if she feels the same way towards me, so usually I am just there as a friend, hiding my desires for something more.

Angel starts shivering, and I think that she's cold, so I heat my body up a bit to keep her warm as well. She relaxes further onto my chest, closes her eyes, and opens them again. When she turns to look at me, her eyes flash just the colors of flame, a mix of bright reds, oranges, yellows and hints light blues. Then, they go back to the swirling vortex of color, reflecting her emotions by having one dominant color.

"Thank you, for whatever you did. It's like I had a dark, depressing cloud hovering over my mind, and you sent a illuminating flame to get rid of the horrible, encroaching darkness." Angel mutters. I must have somehow done that with my control over flame, and that's why her eyes flashed the colors of flame, but how did it happen?

"What did you see when you touched Nia's body that caused the dark cloud to go over your mind?" I ask softly, not waning to inadvertently cause the dark cloud to come back.

"She's... she's... she's in a coma." Angel wails, trying to hold back her tears as a dark blue takes over her eyes, glistening with the shine of tears. "Her body just... shut down I guess. I don't really know what happened. But, when I touched her, I could tell. I don't know if she'll ever be able to wake up, she has two warring people in her mind that both want to take control of the body."

"Nia's in control of the mind right now though, and that's why she's keeping herself in the dream realm." I state, but Angel disagrees and shakes her head

"Nia doesn't know what's going on, or how to get back to her body, even if she wanted to. This was all Sabrina. She didn't want to be disturbed, she knew that she was going to see Saber. She doesn't want to wake up." She elaborates, and we both fall into silence.

I rock Angel gently, which calms her down. She doesn't say anything, but she grabs my hand with her own, stroking it lightly with her thumb and watching the path that her thumb takes intently. This whole situation is just so messed up and complicated for everyone involved, I feel sorry for Saber and Nia.

"Does Nia know what she did when transitioning from Nia to Sabrina?" I can't help but blurt out, like my brain wasn't controlling the stupidity that my mouth wanted to say. Angel whispers back

"No, not as far as I know. The results of that happening would be extremely damaging to Nia, she'd fall into heavy despair and definitely never leave the dream realm, in fear of hurting the others that she loves."

"I just can't believe Nia is back, but her body is in a coma, so she's not fully back." I state, running my hand tiredly down my face. "We need to do something so she'll come back."

"I know." Angel sits there with her head in her hands for a long time, when suddenly her back straightens and she looks at me with light in her swirling eyes. "I have an idea!" She exclaims, her excitement showing in her voice.

"That's awesome!" I reply with the same tone as Angel, and we hug each other tightly. I gaze into her mesmerizing eyes as she looks into mine, and I'm sure mine are flickering with my strong feelings for her. I'm not sure if it's love, but I know it's more than friendship.

A small smile appears on her face, and I can't help but grin hugely. Angel lets out a cute giggle and places her hand on my cheek, stroking it with her soft thumb. I lean into her hand, causing her to giggle more.

"You have such beautiful eyes, they're always flickering like little flames." Angel tells me, then she goes up on her tippy toes to whisper in my ear "Especially if you're looking at me, the flickering is wilder." Angel steps down and winks at me, giggling. My smile gets impossibly wider and I lean forward, placing my lips on hers. This moment is just perfect. I honestly don't know how else to describe it. Her lips are slightly wet and warm against my own.

The kiss deepens, and she wraps her arms around my neck as I place mine around her waist, pulling her closer to me. I would love to be in this moment forever, have it suspended in time for eternity. Sadly, the moment is over, and too soon. At least that's how it seems to me. We rest our foreheads against each other. I'm smiling hugely like a fool, and she has the sweetest smile on her face.

"Wow." Angel murmurs, then giggles at herself.

"Wow indeed." I agree, joining in with Angel's laughter this time.

"Okay, I need to focus." Angel says, pulling out of my arms and walking away a bit, turning her back to me. "I had a plan, oh yes! That was it!" She exclaims, turning back to me with a luminous grin.

"Well, then what's the plan?"

Author's Note:
Hi kittens! The chapter is a bit shorter than usual, but it's because I wanted the chapter just in Inferno's POV to give a bit of a variety and I want the next chapter to be about Angel's plan to get Nia out of her coma. So, the next chapter should be interesting! I'm excited for it, but then again I just love writing, so I'll always be excited.

Question:
Who's POV do you want a chapter to be in? It could be any of the characters. If you want one in the POV of a dead character, then tel me what moment you want it to be and I'll add it as a bonus chapter.
