Chapter 6: Night Changes

"Black? Or pink?" Stella asks to herself as she puts dresses next to my face, "Black. Or maybe blue?"

"Either of them looks good on you." Scarlett tells me.

"I actually really like the navy blue one." I say to my friends. The dress is simple, strapless, and has a heart-shaped neckline that makes my boobs look bigger, because honestly I'm almost flat.

"So go and try it on!" Stella orders me.

I nod and go to the dressing room to try it on. It's a good shape for my body and I like how it looks. It's so beautiful, it seems as if the dress was moved by the wind for every step I take and the color suits me really well.

I go out to see the girls' reaction and I find Zach there. What is he doing here? Did they invite him? This is embarrassing.

"So?" I nervously ask.

"You look amazing." Zach says smiling.

"You look so beautiful, Allie. I love it!" Scarlett says with excitement.

"You're gorgeous, doll!" Stella compliments with a motherly look and I laugh, my cheeks blushing. "By the way, Zach came here for our history project." She informs and takes a flash drive from her bag, "but he'll go in a moment."

"Oh, thanks for kicking me out." Zach responds and we laugh.

"I'm going to change back into my clothes and then we can pay." I say. They make me feel so good and pretty about myself but I have to say I felt a little weird modeling to them. I'm just shy.

"Okay." They say at the same time.

Scarlett and Stella pay their dresses as well and then we go to my house to talk about our make-up and hair. Zach went home because he didn't think he could stand all of our conversation. He said it was 'girl stuff'.

I just can't believe that tomorrow is the big day, I'm so excited. I hope everything goes well and we have lots of fun.

Now that I'm thinking of Becca, I realize that we have been getting along so well and that makes me feel great. I love how everything is going on lately, but I wish she will tell my mom and dad what happened soon, and I hope she gets better.

She has an appointment with her doctor in a few days and I can't wait to hear she's doing fine. She was so happy when she got her period, she almost threw a party, but I insisted of her going to the doctor to see if she has anything else in there.

I woke up feeling a lot of emotions but mostly excitement. Today is the day. I wonder what Liam will be wearing. I'll talk to him later in the day so maybe I'll ask him.

I walk in to the classroom and see Liam on his usual seat, behind mine's. I go to sit down and I leave my backpack on the floor, turning around to see him.

"Hey, Allie." He starts the conversation.

"Hi, Liam. Ready for tonight?" I ask.

"Absolutely. It will be fun." He says half smiling.

"Bet on it." I say and Miss Annabelle enters the room.

"Vamos a empezar la clase." She starts.

"Can we come in?" Scarlett says before entering. She's with Stella and running late.

"I thought I made it clear the first day when I said punctuality was very important and I wasn't going to approve the behavior you're having right now." Annabelle says with a sharp tone.

"We're sorry, it's just that we had an inconvenient but it won't happen again." Stella lies. They just like to be the last ones to enter the room. They love wasting time before entering, except when they are with me, in that case they do hurry up.
