12 years later after high school graduation.

I can believe I'm walking through these hallways again. It feels so weird and so long since I studied here.

Nothing has changed a bit. The classrooms look exactly the same, the teachers' desks on the exact spots, the floor clean and clear, and looking at the school colors just makes me so happy, it takes me back to my high school days and to all my friends. I'm so melancholic right now.

I see some familiar faces in here and my heart warms. I don't know whose idea was to make a reunion but whoever he or she is, is a genius. I'm so excited to see everyone, even the people I didn't like. I'm curious to see how my friends are doing and how different their lives are.

I end my little tour and head to the gym, where most of the people are. I scan the room and there's a huge crowd, I thought there would be less people coming, but I have to admit we were a pretty big generation.

There are tables with food and drinks, some big bright balloons, music playing in the background and tons of people talking, I love this already.

I feel the tears coming to my eyes when I see Zach and Caleb a few feet away from me. They watch me when I start walking towards them and they smile. They look so mature and total adults, I surely feel weird. "Guys!" I excitedly say when I reach them and hug them both.

"Allie!" Zach says when we break our hug. "How're you doing?" He asks with a smile on his face. He still looks so sweet and kind, I missed these guys so much.

"I'm so happy to be here." I really am, "What about you, how's life going?" I can't stop smiling, this is so surreal. "I've seen your face several times while traveling, you're so cool." I tell Zach before they start talking, "And your music is amazing." I add. When I found out he had a band I was totally shocked, I didn't know he sang and played the guitar, piano, the drums and I don't know how many more instruments. I'm so proud of him, he has so much talent and I'm so glad he decided to share it with the world.

"Thanks." He says and I can see his cheeks red, so cute. "I'm having the time of my life." He says and I can see the happiness in his eyes.

"What about you Caleb?" I ask, still smiling. I'm freaking sure my cheeks will start hurting in a while because of smiling so much.

He takes a breath and looks at Zach before he answers, "My first child was born a couple of weeks ago." He proudly says.

"Caleb that's great!" I say, jumping up and down. "Congratulations!" I don't care if I look like a kid, I'm not afraid to show my feelings and emotions. "Is it a baby boy or a baby girl?" I ask.

His smile gets bigger at the sound of my question, "Her name is Diana." Zach and I look at each other and we congratulate Caleb one more time. This must be so exciting for him, such great news to hear.

"Thank you so much for coming." We hear a voice saying through the microphone and we all look at the stage, "It's a pleasure to be hosting this beautiful reunion for the class of 2016." The director says. Wow, he looks so old. I can't believe he is still running the school. Why hasn't he retired by now? He must really like his job.

He gives a short speech about how special it was when we assisted here and how grateful he is to see every single one of us all grown up and successful. I'm not going to lie, it was a pretty good speech, I even saw some tears running down some people's cheeks. We applause when he ends his speech and we watch how slowly he walks down the stage. What a man, I remember how he used to say I was the daughter he never had because of my good grades and good behavior, it was weird to be honest but I find it funny now.
