I've been so busy with school this week doing homework, working on projects and studying for exams. I feel I'm going to collapse at any moment.

It's been all good so far but I feel exhausted, I don't know how everyone does it. I always feel this tired at this point every semester, so I know it's nothing unusual. The bright side is that it's I'm almost over, and that means winter break is right around the corner. I'm so looking forward for it.

I have to admit I have to thank my teachers for leaving me tons of homework and stuff to keep me busy with because that way I don't have to think about anyone or anything, although they will be waiting for me once I finish with my work.

I get out of my room and watch my sister walking downstairs. She's been acting really weird lately. There are no more fights with her, she tries to stay at home most of the time and she does what my mom and dad ask her to do. It's as if she was trying to be a good girl, which I doubt because I'm pretty sure she is either hiding something or trying to get something. She still isn't talking much to me but that's the way we roll. I've accepted that already.

"Tell your dad breakfast is ready." My mom orders when I get to the kitchen and I nod.

I enter to my dad's office and before I say a word I see he is talking on the phone. I don't want to interrupt so I decide to wait a minute until he hangs up. "She doesn't know anything." He says in a low voice, facing the back wall and with his hand on his hip, "Do you think I'm that stupid?" He asks with a hint of laughter in his tone. Who is he talking to? "She won't be here, don't worry." He continues, "I don't think it-"

I interrupt by knocking on his door. He turns around and smiles, "Yeah?" He says, covering the bottom of his phone so the person doesn't hear to what he's saying.

"Breakfast's ready." I answer, my hand still on the door.

"I'm coming." He says and waits for me to go before he keeps talking. I nod and walk back to the kitchen. That was uncomfortable. Who the hell was he talking to and why is it good 'she' wasn't going to be home? I don't get what is going on. It must have been someone from work, I mean, my dad doesn't know more people besides his coworkers and family.

"He's coming." I tell my mom and she hands me a plate with his food to place it on the table.

She sits down on her spot when she finishes cooking our breakfast so we can start eating. She looks at Rebecca and then her eyes land on me, "I might not be home when you come back from school," she informs, "I'm visiting your Aunt Sally and I'll be coming back late." She explains, taking a sip of her green juice.

"You'll be gone all day?" My sister asks. Yes, Rebecca, that's what she said.

"Why are you going there?" I ask before she answers. They usually meet on special occasions because Aunt Sally lives like an hour and a half from here and my mom hates driving for long periods of time.

"It's-" she pauses, "She's having trouble dealing with something, you don't have to worry about it." She tells us.

"Is she alright?" I keep asking. If she is sick my mom needs to tell us, it doesn't matter how bad or hard it is, Aunt Sally has to know we are here for her.

"Yeah." My mom says and grabs a chunk of egg with her fork, "She's just having some personal issues and I'm going to see how she's doing." She explains. Well, if it's nothing jeopardizing her health then I guess she can work it out.

"Say hi to Bradley and Tory for me." Becca says smiling. I haven't seen her smiling in quite a long time. Things must be getting better for her, I'm glad. It's been a while since we last saw our cousins, I miss hanging out with them.
