I have spent a lot of time looking for Liam and I can't find him. It seems as if he vanished from this world. I get into my car and then my phone comes to my mind. Why haven't I called him by now? With just one call I can know where he is, duh. I think all of this going on is affecting my brain. I call him and wait for him to respond. I don't know how I'll start the conversation, will it be with a hello? Or asking him directly what is going on with him and Jade? After two rings, he picks up.

"Hey." He says.

"Hi." I respond.

"Everything alright?" He says with a little laugh at the end. I don't know, you tell me.

"Yeah." I lie, "Can we talk?" I ask.

"Right now?" He says.

"That would be good." I answer.

"I can't at the moment, I'm busy with some" he coughs and continues, "I'm busy with some school work."

"Oh." School work?

"Yeah, my teachers went crazy with all this work and they want everything for tomorrow." He lies.

"Oh ok. Well, call me when you can." I say.

"Sure. Bye." He says.

"Good luck." I say and hang up.

He was definitely lying in my face, maybe what Jade said was true, I don't find any other reason for him to lie. He has never worried that much for school assignments and I don't think he magically developed the responsibility and care for it. Speaking of school, I have lots of work to do and I need to get started, if not I'll get extremely stressed out and I don't want that.

Before going home I make a quick stop to Java Café, I need some good coffee that will give me the energy boost I need to get my work done. I make line and wait for my turn as always. They finally hired another person to help the girl, she was always doing everything by herself and it looked exhausting, besides they're handing faster the orders.

I tell the guy what I want and then go and take a seat and wait for him to call my name. In the meanwhile, I take my phone and look through my Facebook's newsfeed.

Liam? Am I hearing Liam's voice? No, I'm totally hallucinating, he's not here. Jade? Now I'm hearing Jade's voice, oh my God I'm getting crazier by the day.

I can't hold it anymore. I carefully turn around to see if it's them.

My heart feels like crashing into a hard rock floor when I find them there, together, speaking and smiling, like if they were on a date. I try to get a little bit closer to hear what they're saying.

"I'm so glad you made it." Liam tells Jade.

"Of course, I mean, it was your idea after all." Jade responds. What idea?

"I've been thinking a lot and I think it's the best thing to do." Liam says. This sounds horrible, I think I don't want to hear what it comes next.

"Yes, I agree. But how will we do to hide it from Allie?" Jade asks him. Every word they're saying confirms that Jade, in fact, was telling the truth.

"I don't know, everyone somehow get to know everything very fast." He answers.

"And it would be pretty sad for her to find out."

"We have to keep this as a secret. Should we tell her friends?" Liam says.

"Are you kidding me? They would be the first ones to tell her everything! That would be a bad surprise." Oh my God, I can't deal with this anymore. I have to get out of here.
