Chapter 15: Womanizer

I go to the cafeteria after my chemistry class finishes. Since I forgot my lunch at home, I decide to get something from there. I never buy anything because I think the food they have is gross, but since I don't have any other option and I'm starving, I'll give it a try. What's the worst thing that could happen?

After a few looks at all the food, I finally chose to get some grapes, orange juice, a granola bar and a water bottle, all the other food makes me want to vomit. How can everyone else eat that food? Even by looking at it I know there's nothing healthy in there, especially those nuggets and fries, they look like they've been in the freezer for several years. But it's just me, I'm too picky.

I grab all my stuff and try to find a place to eat, I wonder where Jade, Stella and Scarlett are, they haven't called me and I don't see any sign of them in here.

My phone starts ringing after a while and I take it out from my pocket to answer it. Stella's name appears on the screen. "Hey." I say and bring a grape to my mouth.

"Allie, we're looking for you. Where are you?" Stella asks with an annoyed voice.

"I'm at the cafeteria." I say and feel the tension between us, "Is everything fine?"

"Yeah, I'm just tired of Jade, she's been with me all day and she is annoying as hell. I didn't remember she was like that." She honestly answers. She sounds exhausted, poor girl.

"Oh." I say, "Well come here and join me, I look like a loner sitting here by my own."

"We'll be there in a minute." She says and hangs up.

I know something's wrong with Jade, she's not the same girl she was a few months ago. Maybe it's because we haven't been able to talk that often to her and there's not much topic to discuss, but now that she's here I'll try to make her my best friend again.

I see my three friends coming and smile at them. Stella's face expression is priceless. It seems as if she wanted to kill someone. What could Jade possibly have done for her to be like that?

"Allie, look what I bought yesterday." Jade tells me and hands me a beautiful rose gold necklace.

"That's so pretty." I say and smile.

"I know right." She says and takes the necklace from my hands. I see Scarlett and Stella and they both give me the can I kill her look. This is hilarious.

"So, how's it going?" I sarcastically ask.

"Great, everything's going great." Stella answers with sarcasm too.

"We couldn't be happier." Scarlett joins.

"I feel a tense air, are you mad at each other or something?" Jade says looking back and forth between us. Seriously? How can she be so, so, I don't even know what's the best word to describe her. Did she become dumber? "Whatever." She says, "Allie I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah?" I respond.

"That friend of yours, Liam I believe, asked me out." Jade says and I almost spill out the water from my mouth.

"Did he?" Scarlett asks with a confused look.

"He did. I barely know him and he's already into me. I just can't control my natural charming beauty and personality." Did I hear right?

Here are two options: she is either making all this up just to see how I'll react or Liam actually asked her out. They don't even know each other. I recognize Jade is better looking now but her personality is extremely annoying and irritating, I don't think Liam would do such thing.
