"You look terrible, what happened to you?" Stella asks right away when she sees my face. Yesterday my cheek only had a red stain but today when I woke up it had this mix of purple, green and red going on, I tried to cover it up with concealer and foundation, but it ended up looking worse, so I took it off and did my everyday makeup, wishing it would disappear throughout the day.

"Thanks, nice to see you too." I answer and playfully roll my eyes. I'm glad she's talking to me again.

"I'm serious Allie, what happened?" Stella asks.

"I had a little accident. I don't really want to talk about it." I half lie.

"I'm so sorry for everything. I'm really, really, really sorry. It won't happen again, okay? Nobody will tear our friendship apart. I was being so stupid." Stella says and hugs me. "I was just PMSing."

"Same here. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. You know Caleb and I are only friends." I honestly say. I still can't get over the fact that she thought that there was something going on between he and me, that's ridiculous.

"Do you need something? Ice maybe?" She asks and stares at my bruise.

"No, I'm good, thanks." I smile and she smiles back, still looking at my cheek. "Don't look at it." I say.

"Holly molly! Does it hurt?" Zach asks and touches my cheek as he takes a seat beside me.

"Ouch." I say when I feel his finger pressing against my face. We laugh but I know they are concern about me.

The bell rings and everyone comes in and Stella sits in front of me. I see Jason entering with Liam behind him and I instantly look at him, maybe we're not friends or whatever we were before, but that doesn't mean I can't stare at him, he's so handsome. Liam feels my eyes on him and looks back at me. His eyebrows turn into a frown in the instant he watches me and I turn away, pretending nothing had happen.

"Where's Scarlett?" I ask Stella. I feel my bruise pounding and it's pretty uncomfortable.

"Late, as always." She responds and rolls her eyes.

"Allie, so you found a bear in the middle of the road or what?" Zach asks me in a completely serious voice even though his choices of words are pretty funny.

I see with the corners of my eyes that Liam is behind me but I pretend I didn't notice.

"We can say that, it was a baby bear though." I joke, but he only makes a half smile. I don't want to tell them what really happened but they'll have to know soon or later. I prefer later.

"Don't you think you should see a doctor?" Zach asks me.

"It's going to heal on its own." I answer. I hope it does, it's pretty noticeable and I look horrible. I didn't know my sister had that strength, she's so little and skinny.

"I love you Allie, but I don't think so." Stella says and looks at my bruise once again, "You should go and see a doctor. Right, Liam?" Damn it, I haven't told her about what had happened the last few days, she doesn't know anything.

"Yeah, I agree." He simply answers. "My mom knows someone who can check you that out." He adds.

"See? Please, I don't want that thing to stain on your pretty face forever." Stella says and makes me a funny smile.

I turn around and face Liam, it feels so weird, "Can you ask your mom the name and number of the doctor, please?" I politely ask.

"Sure, I'll text you the details this afternoon." He answers and makes a weak, confused smile.
